Our Community and a Get Together IRL
If I win the lottery I'm going to buy a huge mansion with a huge backyard, huge swimming pool, everything!
I would invite the entire DBD community, mods, devs, casuals, tryhards, everyone for a IRL get together. I would pay your travel expenses and everything.
Do you think it would be fun? Killer Mains meeting MFT lovers and all kinds of people?
Because I think in real life we would have fun with no toxicity and have civilized conversations about the game.
Would you attend?

If you let me eat a tub of ice cream in the basement while watching Beavis and Butthead I'm in

Nobody thinks about the massive upkeep expense. You will need to hire some full time staff and that's going to eat away those winnings real quick.

Id love to open a dead by daylight theme park tbf. Wouldn't be too difficult using a cornfield and hiring some bloke to dress up as Hillbilly and run around with a chainsaw.

That sounds like a ton of fun. I would definitely be down if we are able to pull that off. I have been thinking about this as well, but if DBD gets big enough, hopefully we can have a DBD con once a year and I can meet everyone here.

The thought is hilarious. Just imagine the baby survivors sitting on a table with the 10k hours Nurse mains and listening to their wisdom. The Bubba and Trapper mains would assemble in the basement, decorating and fortifying it. The pool would be surrounded by Dwight and Claudette mains as well as Trickster, Wraith, Huntress, Spirit and some of the remaining Trapper mains all showing of their bodies, that they no doubt worked their hardest to achieve with exercises like Jake lifts, Feng curls and David press.
The Blight and Billy mains would compete in a contest to find out who is actually faster, with the SM and Singularity mains monitoring the competition and analysing the data. The Pig mains could be found in a circle booping each others snoots. You'd recognise the Clown mains from anywhere by the devilish concoctions they mix and their laughter ringing through the halls. Don't come too close though! They are known to throw bottles at intruders.
The Wesker mains would do what they do best, throwing around one liners and staring at the Chris mains, making them more than a little uncomfortable. The Doctor mains would mingle with them and giggle at every single one of their jokes. No exceptions. I know, shocking. Demodoggo and Xenokitty mains could be found in most intellectual discussions, easily recognisable by their thoughtful nodding. Hag mains have their own area in the gardens where they would be seen drawing beautiful, meticulous pieces of art in the dirt. Some of the most evil survivor mains would be seen wiping away these drawings, only for all the Hag mains to surround them and hiss.
Every so often you may stumble upon a Myers main biding their time and staring at the survivor mains, but it's best to leave them to it. They may start slow but they'll be all the more active later. The Legion mains would mingle with the survivors and for the first time in their lives nobody would scream: "Imposter!" whenever they are around.
Oni and Plague mains would be the first to fall out of line. Oni mains tend to get aggressive when they are drunk while Plague mains... Well, let's just say I wouldn't want to be responsible for cleaning afterwards. Nemesis and Pyramid Head mains would argue about who has the worse addons. Until at one point the 2 Twins mains on this planet would chime in with their little brothers announcing their arrival.
Sadako mains would gather around the mansion's TVs and stare angrily at anyone who puts one of the tapes into the old video player. Needless to say, they'd cut all the signal beforehand, so the video players are the only way to actually watch any movies. The only movies available would have Nic Cage as the main actor.
In typical DBD fashion, we'd have lockers scattered throughout the mansion. Every so often you'd see a Dredge main coming out grabbing a huge plate piled up with food from the buffet, devour it all instantly and disappear again. At least until night falls...
Knight and Pinhead mains could be found arguing about who has more bugs with Chucky mains backing their arguments up with the occasional insult. The Ghostface and Nea mains could be found around a corner making fun of them and partaking in a squats competition.
Artist and Deathslinger mains would carry out an epic battle of ink crow shooting. The Adam mains would fit in perfectly with their tendencies to throw around pebbles. Nic Cage mains would steer clear of that area. The Freddy mains would be there for the afterparty of our dreams.
In the main room we'd have a set of huge thrones for our overlords, the mighty BHVR devs surrounded by their most loyal servants, mythical beings known as mods. The halls would be decorated with paintings of the finest memes like a hockey puck and a crying pig face with the words: "Nerf Pig".

Very fun thought process, i do think that the screen that divides us hides a lot and most people aren't as bad as they seem sometimes.
It is funny that the most unrealistic thing of this post is thinking you can buy all that with winning the lottery only once in todays economy.
That mansion with pool is probably going to have to settle for a avarage sized country house with a kiddy pool

probably would be more tame than gathering a random bunch of League or Counter-Strike players, 'cause y'know how they are, I imagine the "super mega toxic DBD players" that we always hear about, probably also happen to be players who play League/CS
imo, I feel like a lot of people play a character or a role when it comes to online gaming/streaming and they might be a completely different person altogether irl - like if they're out here swearing and throwing down death threats in a post game lobby chat, kinda in the heat of the moment thing, I assume they're not like going to bed and waking up the next day thinking about what went down in their DBD match that got them tilted off the face of the earth and plotting to ruin the life of whomever bested them in a vidya game!
anyways, good luck with your wish, hope it comes true, don't let your dreams be dreams <3

I can just fully picture that meetup ending up like this

I would not miss that. Sounds fun.

Well, it's the dbd community.
I think the country house is enough.

I expect the biggest irl brawl between Killer mains and Survivor mains as they take the us vs them to a physical level.

I think Bubba mains might need bodygaurds and so would Skully mains some people still despise her.

Everybody would be Kung Fu fighting. Those DBD cats, as fast as lightning. In fact, it would be a little bit frightening.

All I know is that whoever is carpooling with me is in for a great time in my ride. It'll be litty 😎.

But they would fight with skill check timing.
There'll be funky Wesker mains from funky Raccoon town.

To be honest... I know debates on this forum get heated sometimes and there can be a lot of "us vs them" or toxicity but I feel like most people here would get along fine in real life and just vibe LOL...🤠

United States. I'm paying your travel expenses so that's not an issue.

Having to wear nametags (either Forum name or username) would have to be done
Other then that I wouldn't mind meeting all of whom go (If I can go in the first place)

Pig mains in one car?
