What Character(s) Would You Love To See Added To DBD?
Since DBD is focusing on adding many horror icons, there are an infinite number of possibilities for having characters added into DBD, rather it be unique Killers or Survivors, or cosmetic replaces similar to that of Chris Redfield's inclusion into the game.
I think it goes without saying that James A. Janisse should 100% be added to the game (in my opinion).
For those who are not aware, James A. Janisse runs a YouTube channel called "Dead Meat" which produces content known as "The Kill Count" in which they examine the amount of people who died in horror films (both indie and mainstream).
They were also involved in the production of Scream (2022) playing as the "Film Fails" channel and parodying themselves to an extent.
With such vast influence, Im surprised they havent been added sooner.

Unironically, adding Part 1 Dio and Speedwagon.
Dio's got plenty of ability, he's got voicelines galor, he's a massive troll and he's extremely recognizable.

This will never happen, but The Protagonist or The Wolfman from Darkwood would be cool additions. Darkwood is my favorite horror game ever made and honestly, I wish it got more attention.

As I've said in other threads, I want to branch out to more video game properties. My top picks are Alan Wake and Frank West for survivors. They don't come with good killers but they have good material for new maps as well, as unprecedented as it would be to have a survivor + map only chapter.

That's precisely why I love darkwood, it's horror doesn't rely on cheap tricks or jumpscares, but it's built up using the atmosphere, artsyle, sound design and general creepiness of the enemy designs. You're always thinking about what could be lurking beyond your view, with all those screams and roars it could anything.
I get not being able to get through it though, I myself couldn't get through it when I first started playing. The game can be downright terrifying sometimes, especially at night. I had to watch markiplier's entire playthrough of it before I got the guts to finish it lol.

Jason is obvious just to complete the horror icons really sure he will make it but would almost certainly be an anniversary chapter.
Stranger things chapter 2 with vecna, robin & hopper would be my bet for next years anniversary.
Candy man will probably get in (underwhelming for me personally & I'm an 80's kid grew up with all the horror icons)
Pennywise I just cant see King ever doing a deal.
Honestly now I have Chucky I couldn't really care less what licenses they get. (Okay I want scream queens because well emma roberts & all those outfits!)
Werewolf & dracula are really the only other things i'd love to see but neither need be licensed obviously, quite happy to see where they go & hopefully others will get their most wanted regardless of my opinion.

I know it's not horror and I don't know how it would work but a Hollow Knight skin for someone would make me really happy.

I always imagined the sentinels to be a trap based mechanic that once a Survivor has entered it's line of sight, killer instinct would emit from it and you would switch your POV over to it, where you then would gain control of it in a similar way you would with Pinhead's chain.
Successful hit with it puts Survivors in deep wound which they can't mend until they've removed the Sentinel that's hit them.
Of course, i also imagine that you could switch between The Tall Man's Lurkers and his Sentinels through add-ons, similar to Freddy's dream pool and pallets.

Well, I got Alien with Ripley and Xenomorph - so I am kinda happy right now and don’t need other licenses.
though i would still be happy to see these:
- Sidney Prescott (with some Woodsboro map, high school, or possibly Haddonfield/Springwood-like with Sidney’s house and Casey’s house?

I just recently finished the Evil Within games, so I'd love to see good ol' Detective Castellanos make it into the Fog. I'd rather see an associated killer be pulled from the first game, despite the second one being superior in every way; largely because I think our good friend Box Man is a cooler killer design than most of the stuff from the second game, and if they could make Laura work I'd be there day one. I'd sell my belongings to get that killer.
(Plus, Nurse Tatiana legendary skin, please...)
Perhaps controversial, but I would like to see a third RE chapter bring in Jack Baker. However, I don't want it now, I think they should wait a while to give RE/DBD some breathing room as a concept.
Way more niche and survivor-only, but I'd adore seeing John Constantine in this game, but only if they can get the old Vertigo version. The new version does less for me personally, and in my opinion, is also less fitting for DBD in general.
Not a full character, but I want a Punchline (DC) skin for Legion. One part that being a fitting concept, one part... my girlfriend really likes Punchline and would actually play this game with me if she were added lol. Might as well throw in a Joker skin for Trickster while you're at it.

How ever if theres any character being added its more than likely going to be the big bad herself, Apollyon.

The Thing is the only killer i would love to see. Jason and Pennywise would be nice too.
But tbh at this point i rather see more original content. Many of my favourite killers are original (Dredge, Oni or Singularity) and i like being surprised by what BHVR can create. Also, original characters are more likely to get new cosmetics you can unlock for free :)
So focusing on BHVR-made stuff, i'd like to see that spider from the archives (tbh i dont mind if it's the humanoid one or the giant spider), the vampire or even Frank Stone (i think he is the killer?)
