There is no reason for adrenaline to have this feature
- If playing against The Nightmare Adrenaline will wake you from the Dream World upon activation.
Devs decided long time ago that perks should not directly counter killers, and adrenaline for some reason is forgotten, please just remove it and that's all

Actually, it makes sense that "Adrenaline" wakes you up.
But i agree, for the sake of ballance, it should not.

Hard agree. It's surely only persisted this long because barely anyone even plays Freddy, let alone notices that Adrenaline does this, tbh.

Devs are afraid of Freddy so they are doing their best to forget him. That is how you fight Freddy, you forget him and he loses his power and ability to return.
We should make them remember..

Yeah there’s literally no reason it should have that. Lore-wise it makes sense, but balance should be a higher priority than lore so it should be removed.
Kinda ironic that a killer who has 3 perks that are strongest in endgame (2 of them don’t do anything at all until endgame) gets their power hard countered in endgame by a popular survivor perk.

As someone said, it would make sense for adrenaline to wake you up, and in general I roll my eyes when I see people suggest nerfs for the perk as it's fine as is IMO (and I know the OP isn't making the case for that either, they're just addressing this perk in that one instance) BUT... BUT...
Yeah, Freddy is a joke which sucks because I will start playing him at some point just to continue to learn every killer. I say, if the devs can just make adrenaline not wake survivors up from the dream state, give the man all the help he can get. He needs far more than that. Like maybe being able to teleport to gens even if they're already completed. But the adrenaline thing is SOMETHING LOL.

Yeah they added it in when they were nerfing every aspect of Freddy a week or so after his release. He got a lot of pointless nerfs. I remember them even mentioning on stream they wanted to nerf Remember Me so if you kill the obsession you lose half your stacks but the backlash stopped them.
I still have no idea why they decided to give it to Adrenaline, a perk that was still meta at the time, and not Wake Up!, a low tier perk that literally is called 'Wake Up' and belongs to Quentin.
This interaction is long overdue to be removed and Freddy still needs a lot more than just this change.

They also decided a long time ago basement was no longer needed because other hooks arent permanently gone upon first hook anymore.
