Please consider keeping the Stranger Things perks universal

The game is already challenging for new players due to the limited availability of decent perk options. Could you please consider keeping the Stranger Things perks universal instead of placing them behind yet another DLC paywall? With an increasing number of perks locked behind DLCs in the game, it is discouraging for new players to get started because of the significant investment required to access worthwhile build options, especially in a paid game. I'd really appreciate it if you could reconsider making those perks available only through a paywall. It would go a long way in making the game more welcoming for new players. Thanks for taking the time to consider this.

If the survivor perks stay universal, they all you get when you buy Steve and Nancy are........just Steve and Nancy.

    Give them new perks.

I know it would require BHVR to create new perks which can take a long time but the perks that Steve, Demogorgan, and Nancy have are perfect for beginner players and solve a lot of the issues that beginners have.

Yeah, I'm not sure why the OP didn't link the video. Might as well so everyone can hear the idea right from the source.

I agree, new players are really going to have a wrost time in the game now. I think they really should either make few new universal perks to help newer players or keep these are universal perks. To the ppl who say "well they can just buy the chapter to get these perks" Here I question for you. Did you buy dlc for a game you just bought without knowing you going to enjoy the game? No one will buy a games dlc without playing the game for at least few hours (10 to 20 hrs). Chances are a newer players going to buy DBD have a horrible time bc the perks they have access to are the worst on the game and never play it again. Killers won't even have a slowdown perk when surge goes back to being a teachable perk. Say what you will but this change will negatively effect newer players and can lead to the game not growing.

The perks are a part of the license contract that is now once more in effect and they also exist to also incentivize sales. If they stay universal license holders of Stranger Things will be at damage as other licenses keep their perks locked thus giving more purchase value and potential. The deal of purchasing the chapter will be weaker. I doubt that devs will leave them available to future new players. This does not prevent devs to make new perks that are free to all players though.

I would also like to get new ones for them.

I already got all of the perks on my account and so it isn‘t really worth for me buying Steve and Nancy except for them as skins.

I'll help the OP out here. If anyone wants to watch the video Aven and CatnipLove talking about here you go. Like I said I agree with Otz here that losing ST perks as universal perks is a bad thing for newer players and BHVR really should look into making better beginner universal perks. For ex killers universal perks really should have at least one slowdown perk.

You can grab the perks now while they're available, and they won't disappear. If you unlock them now they stay unlocked.

I'd rather they reworked the Shrine of Secrets so that there was a more viable alternative way of obtaining licensed perks besides buying the chapter. By asking for this one chapters perks to stay universal, you only keep 9 perks available. But reworking the Shrine of Secrets, you potentially make all licensed perks more obtainable.

Hell even just the option from the store to BUY perks from a chapter, just as you can buy individual characters without having to buy the complete chapter.

    Chapter: 1000 AC

    Character: 500 AC

    Perk: 250 AC / 5000 IS

Shrine of Secrets: Remains as is as a way to get discounted perks for 2000 IS.

Considering licensed perks already show up in the Shrine, sometimes mere weeks after release of the chapter, there shouldn't be any reason why they couldn't be made available for Iri Shards.

So they should create new perks universal, where at least one is decent slowdown (killer) and one is anti tunnel (survivors).

    That works too.
