Can I get the PS5 version of the game if I buy the Silent Hill edition?
I CAN buy the game, and the Silent Hill edition on my PS5, but what I don’t know is whether or not I’m directly buying the PS5 version of the game, or just the PS4 version. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

It says PS4 on it. That's the PS4 version.
The one box says PS4, the other one is explaining that "this game is playable on ps5 but some features might...." because its the ps4 version.
Personally, i would suggest buying the game on steam rather than console. Cross progression hasn't come out yet, and even if it does Sony tends to be the biggest holdout to that kind of thing.

I can't say for certain but I believe the upgrade to the ps5 version is free if you own the digital ps4 version.
Maybe someone who is sure can verify.

If it like any other game it should let you upgrade for free to ps5 version. I'm pretty sure you will unlocked all dlcs going up to the silent hill chapter.

Should be correct.
Buy PS4 version, free upgrade to PS5. You may need to reactivate any DLC licenses you bought for the PS4 version (like the silent hill one), but that's free.
