Remove skill checks from the game

They never miss a skillcheck anyway. Delete it from the game.

I see people miss them on occasion. Much like wiggling, they exist for a purpose. Should we remove wiggling simply because wiggle outs aren't common?

I do think that Overcharge's skill check that can appear after you let go should be default. Swap the no chance to hit over to OC and give them a chance to hit it while running by default.

Then how else will the gen explode when I hop off to go get the unhook?

They have a place. Some perks make it harder to hit skill checks and make survivors miss more. Great skill checks give bonus progression, while missing they lose progression. The doctor has an interesting "function" with skill checks where they go in reverse or show up at a random place on the screen. Also they hinder survivors when looking around for ghostface and other stealth killers. They're easy to miss unless you keep your "head" still when scanning the area.

So all in all, they serve a purpose. Even if it's not the biggest impact in the game, they don't just add zero value or have zero function.

Gens are boring enough, removing them would make them even more so. So not only do I not agree they should be removed, they should be made slightly more frequent when doing gens so they feel more present in the game.
