So can we talk about Drop Vaults getting removed?
And how Hug Teching on multiple killers is still allowed?
How long until Window Techs, Grab Saves, and 99'ing get removed too?
Survivor is getting so bland now, they really want to hard cap chases to 30 seconds maximum and its getting stale.

Dude, drop vaults are broken af on some structures. Can create infinites.

However did and do people play without these drop vaults, I wonder. It is NOT intended and that's why it's removed.
Hug Techs on multiple killers? You mean 2. Exactly 2 killers. And on at least 1 one of them we know, that they do consider it an exploit and they already announced, they would remove it. I don't know why we haven't had any news since but here we are.
Grab saves are intended, so they stay. Same as 99ing things. If that wasn't the case, they'd already made Mangled and Ruin's effect base kit for killers (not saying they should ever do that!) and removed grab saves along with locker saves. I'm not sure what Window Techs you are referring to but the one that's also a FOV tech will be significantly weaker, once the FOV slider comes. Which is a good thing in my book. Because crouching and using the very limited FOV of the killer against them, doesn't sound like good design to me.
I would really like to know where you get 30 seconds as a hard cap for chases from. It's easy to exceed that with minimal effort against more than 2/3 of all killers in this game. Against the rest, you'll actually have to play good yourself.

What's a drop vault?
1 -
You are dropping from high place which should make you slow. But if there is any vault you can jump, you can just jump and there is nothing killer can do.
Ayrun had video i guess, you can check it.

To be fair hug techs have been in the game forever and yes BHVR did say that, like drop vaults, they are an unintended exploit that are gonna be removed.. years ago (I believe they recently, as in within the last 2-3 months, said it again?). And with all due respect “2” = multiple. I get you’re trying to say it’s not really a big deal because ‘only’ two killers on the roster can hug tech but OP was right to say multiple.

It's actually gonna be "3" if they did not change Chucky lol.
0 -
Oh they’re not changing that. So yeah three. Chucky is definitely S-A tier.

Literally 3 structures in the entire game, and most people don't even know about it. Let's not pretend that this bug affected you on a daily basis as much as some killer "techs", it probably affected anyone of us at most once if ever
That being said, @op, those killer bugs will never be fixed, so you might as well learn to deal with them

Technically they are right about "multiple". But when it's exactly 2/33 killers, the word multiple indicates, that this is a somewhat common thing. Which I disagree with. Also, assuming they are still going to remove Blight's Hug Tech, the word multiple would then become technically incorrect, once that happens. But that's just semantics.

Window techs is where survivors can pass through killers during the killer vault animation. Typically they will run one direction where the killer can see, then turn around and pass through the killer in the OTHER direction. Kinda surprised a hitbox exploit has lasted this long tbh.

I'm fine with the drop vaults that can be circumvented by breaking the pallet, but the infinites obviously needed to go.
Window techs are funny. I'm glad it's still here. It's the best thing you can do with a key.

They never said it affects them on a daily basis, just that it’s broken on certain structures which it is. Whether it is common or not is irrelevant.

Windows block for a reason.

Is this bait?

What’s your point? Lol
That doesn’t refute that drop vaults are broken. I use them all the time when I play survivor.
Can’t block the windows if you’re not in chase. If you know you know. If you don’t, then your game knowledge isn’t up there yet.

If you get shift-teched at a drop vault then that's you misplaying or the survivor playing well.
Whats the problem with this? Especially since one of the better drop vaults is on q MacMillan map that's considered very balanced.
I'm kinda over how any skill expression on survivor is always discredited as an exploit/braindead/uncounterable.
It seems people are incapable of praising survivors anymore, you can't even load into a match without being told if you win it doesn't count and if you lose you're terrible because of "m1 killers", "broken maps", "autopilot perks."
I will die on the hill that the 4 chase/injury mft meta was one of the most skillful survivor metas because only good players got significant value from it. But even that got called autowin so I just realize community opinion doesn't matter anymore.
Not that I care about what people think of my killer/survivor gameplay to begin with and I would continue to not care except BHVR seems to want to cater to the lowbrow killer population as much as possible to keep killer player pool healthy.
Maps being reworked to be terrible like Coldwind and Borgo, maps being released in godawful states like Nostromo.
Healing nerfed, boons nerfed, virtually every survivor item being gutted with the "compensation" being bland thoughtless reworks that remove variety.
Perk rebalancing for survivors has been terrible. They have yet to balance a perk in a way I find thoughtful.
Looping has been nerfed countless times indirectly or directly, overabundance of anti-loop and gimmicks means you don't even have to be outclassed to go down quick.
This means there's virtually no difference between good and great survivors at high mmr aside from gen efficiency and resource management, two of the most boring aspects of survivor. High mmr is awful right now, either the killer snowballs into a quick 4k because of a gimmick or misplay by the survivor or the killer trolls/ego tunnels/rage quits after one or two chases because they got outplayed.
The amount of games vs 3k+ hour/p100/ttv killers who play full meta but still fall into the latter category really shows me the general entitlement a lot of killers have due to thinking they're "good enough" to deserve any win they want. I'm sure survivors act like this too but at least I can choose to avoid them if I want.
I mean survivors can't even get more emotes like mobile dbd has because of killer sensitivity, yet hook beatings and moris don't seem to cause issues.
I'm not shocked that a lot of high profile survivor mains are struggling to play dbd consistently or play a lot more killer, it's very stale and shows no signs of improving at all, so they continue to have to intentionally handicap themselves or play solo queue just to make the game at least semi interesting.
Anyways rant over, typing this out made me realize I really have no desire to pick DBD back up anytime soon especially with more changes like the drop vaults happening. So I'll be continuing my break. Still keeping up with it thought since it's interesting to read opinions about. :p

My point being that it was rare and very counterable in most instances (CT & Ormond mbs + Hawkins window, I honestly can't think of any other mb where you could do this) only being problematic that rare times a hill would spawn right in front of shack window in like 2 or 3 maps of the whole game, where you could simply drop the chase.
In like 6 or more months that the bug has been out, I can recall only one time that it was used effectively against me, in storehouse, and I simply dropped the chase in that area

You mean like with Clairvoyance and keys? Thanks. I lost track of all the different techs this game has to offer.
I thought they meant the one where you crouch right next to the window then press yourself through the killer's hitbox and vault after they vaulted the window. Which is just a fancy FOV tech, if we're being honest.
