Road map, still no Myers update?
Onryo, Blight, Hillbilly, Hag, Pig, Huntress, Demo, Clown, Doctor, Twins, all getting changes. Didn't they say they were looking at a Myers rework?
So another year of being the most outdated killer in the game with no changes. Losing hope that they will ever touch him or at least update his stalk to not run out. Maybe after the Twins rework? Super frustrated, super frustrated.

He's outdated but he's still one of the most popular killers. Low-mid mmr killers like his gameplay. He is low on the rework list imo.

Even Freddy isn't in there. I hope there will be more updates including new roadmap.

Kinda nervous on what they are gonna do to Huntress.

it would be hilarious if they nerf huntress just to incentive you to play deathslinger and trickster.... i would laugh so hard. yes, play those pointless ranged killers.
2 -
They quite literally said they didn’t even have a design planned for Myers.
It’s obviously coming sometime after the anniversary.
4 -
Manna Grass Braid or Flower Babushka basekit I guess. No point in so long wind-up, when we have Nemesis and Alien in game.

They said Freddy and Myers are on the work but far from being ready. So there is sadly we can't do anything, only waiting.
1 -
They have said they haven't come up with an update design for him yet. Probably the same for Freddy. Mikey's time will come.
4 -
The only change Myers needs is for stalk to slowly passively regen on survivors over time so that you never wind up without a power.
Otherwise he's one of the best designed killers in the game.

Considering the Trickster rework disaster, I’m fully expecting the Huntress rework will be giving her faster movement speed, but smaller hatchet hitboxes.

to be fair, nemesis and alien cant shoot across that long of a distance
1 -
Yes, and it way easier to dodge it on long distance. We can discuss "but she has this, but doesn't has that", but I really believe that Huntress is slightly outdated killer (but still not weak).

I agree this should be the main change. Frustrating that such a simple and useful adjustment takes years.
If they had put a small fraction of the effort they put into their vain attempts to fix SM and Onryo, many of the Killers would be in better spots.

We can finally say that a Twins rework is coming. That's one miracle already. Don't ask for too much.

Tombstone Myers is worse than the old moris. Having to jump into lockers healthy just to avoid getting eliminated from the game instantly sucks. Getting caught and moried immediately sucks even more.
Could you at least disable the tombstone addons?
2 -
I mean, you only forgot the Tombstones. Right? Right?? RIGHT???

I've never had a problem with tombstone, Judith's requires 2-3 survivors worth of full stalk to really get going meaning the team has a huge window to get objectives done before any real threat presents itself.
Tombstone piece is a lil more grey as it can result in one player failing by feeding Myers stalk but then another player getting eliminated, which can feel very unfair. However the counter point to that is its not ideal to eliminate that other player over the stalked one because you limit the power you have left for future stalks.
So if they make stalk passively regenerate so that Myers doesn't run out of power then tombstone piece will have to change or go because the passive regeneration removes any downside to it. But as for Judith's, if you feed enough stalk to Myers that he gets Judith's off then the team deserves a good stabbing.
Personally I really enjoy facing tombstone in all its forms because with the changes to moris there are very few killers who are just snuff you out terrifying anymore.
You run from Myers not because you need to sink his time so others can do objectives, you do it because he might have tombstone and can snuff you out in a heartbeat, what more can you ask for from a survival horror experience than a true horror.
Myers is one of the few killers who can still be that true horror.

Yes after the buff his base kit.

Bringing back old machine gun Huntress, lol

I hope this is not a repeat of Hillbilly and Freddy's, I fear that if they make "deep adjustments" to the mainstream M1 killer perk when the rework (probably nerf) warning is coming, there will finally be no reason to use killers other than Nurse Bright against PTs.

Infinite Tier 3 is also terrible.
Playing against him is a waste of time
1 -
He's the worst designed killer in the game for how the game is actually played.
I really don't understand the criticism of tombstone. It adds a fun wrinkle to the game and you hardly ever see it. I have thousands of hours in the game and have been tombstoned probably less than five times.

I think this is a fair reply honestly - It's on their radar but they haven't finalized a concept yet - All I needed to hear.
I'd rather they get him right the first time they adjust him so I'm willing to be patient - At least Myers isn't clunky like the other killers in his current state. Just needs to be modernized a little bit for current DBD.

I think part of why people think he's not good, is a lot of players have a very singular mind about how the game should be played and when you do that you severely limit the effectiveness of a lot of the mechanics.
Myer's power fits the theme of the Halloween films, creepy stalk followed by killing spree.
His addons do exactly what addons should do, they don't just augment his base power slightly but can also completely change the way he's played. Tombstone Myers is a completely different game from Jumpscare scratched mirror Myers.
Lastly his expensive addons are powerful, so much so that people piss and moan about them but that's what expensive addons should do, make the killer scary to face. (I know some people will say its not scary its annoying but they are the ones who get grumpy when they die, so grain of salt).
His design ticks so many boxes for a well designed killer, he doesn't need a lot of tweaks. If they greatly change that and ruin him it will be really bad.

He's fine as an idea, but he doesn't work in the game. You have to start every game as the worst killer in the game. Then you have to waste time levelling up to become the second-worst killer in the game, only behind tier-one Myers. Then when you finally get to tier three, it's still not that strong. He's still loopable, and you can just wait it out. If you're against competent survivors who don't spend the first five minutes crouch-walking around the map and know to deny stalk, there's really not much he can do. He's also awful on 90% of the maps.
Even his "OP" add-ons don't do much against competent survivors. He's leagues behind all the other one shot down killers.
Compare him against the actual best-designed killer in the game, Oni. Oni starts the game as a standard killer and gets to injure survivors to get his power instead of slowing all the way down and letting them run away. Then when Oni levels up, he's by far the best killer in the game at that point and is actually terrifying. Plus, you can never run out of orbs until everyone is dead.
They will have to drastically change Myers to make him a decent killer. Like getting rid of tier one and making tier three actually a threat.

You're playing with good teammates. I'm jealous.
The Myers I play against will always be Tier 3.
and my teammates stay away from the generator and only hide.

And i am going to assume the next road map is going to be in the 8th anniversary. I honestly can't wait to see it!

Being in tier 1 moving 105% speed is complete trash design. With no lunge either. Both of those have to go. He should be 110% speed in tier 1 with a normal lunge.
If you run into survivors who starve you to death of stalk you can be in tier 1 still by the time 2 gens are already competed. His kit is outdated especially for how gen speed is. Early game is CRUCIAL!
