main tricksters let's hope
main tricksters there is hope
I don't feel like playing dbd because my favorite character is useless but I want to believe that there is hope since we remember that when the trickster was released it was harshly criticized and BHVR 1 week later in a bug patch gave it buffoons, I want to believe that it The same thing will happen and in a maximum of 2 weeks the Trickster will be minimally playable again (leave everything as it is but leave it at 6 knives)

I suspect he was reworked because Survivors hated playing against him, probably due to spots with low counter play against his knives.
His throw rate has been gutted, he got normal speed and a lack of recoil as a thrown bone, now it can be argued it wasn’t just a nerf.
Given how BHVR left Billy, Freddy, and Xeno in the trash after their problematic features were adjusted, I would not have high hopes for an improvement in his current state for some time.

I mean, Alien is ok, the other 2, yeah.
But idk why BHVR even did these changes, the problems were Add-ons and Main Event frequency, not the throw rate.

Agree to disagree with Xeno.
The only thing that makes sense is they have or had mechanics Survivors found “unfun.” The Killers getting reworked are not particularly strong or popular but are worse after the rework with their problematic mechanics remove or made worthless.

I don’t think you play Killer much at all.

I think they reworked him both to reduce survivor frustration and to make him stronger, they just went a bit overboard on the nerfs after the PTB. I don’t think they intended to make him worse.
All they need to do is revert the throw rate back to 4 or bring back the ramp up and maybe reduce the laceration metre by 1. The only real issue PTB Trickster had was Main Event and the Iri add on, which they fixed. The throw rate nerf was overkill.

they definitely intended him to be worse. every single content creator said he was "over-tuned". you have to be patient for bvhr to revert all the ptb -> to live changes to make character playable.

Nerfing his throw rate was likely the point because it frustrated Survivors. Highly unlikely it will be reverted.

From PTB to live, yes, they wanted him to be weaker because he seemed a bit too powerful. But the original intent of the rework was clearly not to make him weaker. They just went way too hard on his nerfs going to live. The Iri add on and Main Event being 6 knives were the only problems. Every other nerf he got should be reverted because right now he is definitely worse than before the rework.

So bad that half the time its better to M1 than use his power, which yeah, not a good sign.

Just keep him 115% Killer please. The rest I don't hugely care about. If they revert him and put him back to 110% I will stop playing him again since his counterplay is ultra boring (hold walls and W) and it takes forever to catch up as 110%.
