Do you think Nurse still deserves more changes?

In other words: Nerfs.

Do you think she is fine as of now or is her power in its core still broken or some of her add-ons?

Yeah it's a complete rework moment. Not a "bhvr rework", but a true massive kit change.

Her gameplay is comically over rated in terms of difficulty, she only has a steep learning curve(for dbd).

Safe blinking on the large majority of objects/tiles in the game is an injure.

I think she should have a less long reaction/decision time then she would be fine and you could outplay her

Yes. I don't know why they're so afraid to significantly nerf her. It's obvious to any unbiased player that she is way too strong. She's so strong that barely anyone actually tries to defend her as fair. Something that is incredibly rare in the DBD community. You can't even use the low kill rate excuse anymore if you go by nightlight stats. She currently has one of the highest kill rates in the game in spite of bad nurses dragging it down. Apparently killers like hag and trickster are more deserving of changes in Behavior's eyes. Nurse is a relic of the past and does not belong in the current game.

Her power is broken, but i kinda like her to play against, because she is so unique.

She needs to lose her blink tokens when stunned and forced into fatigue again like she used to

And I would reintroduce lightburn again, it didn't need to be removed from her and artist

Other than that, she's fine. Her power breaks the core mechanics of the game as much as other anti loop killers that hit through stuff 👍🏻 there are killers who "follow the game mechanics" that are a lot more problematic than her in this sense, at least against nurse you can play around her power

Yeah, she needs a complete Rework. I dont think it is possible to nerf her, unless they would nerf her in such a extreme way that she is the weakest Killer in the game.

Everyone knows that Nurse is busted, she would not be released like this anymore. She is from a time where a lot of broken stuff was in the game which got removed, yet Nurse is allowed to stay and the changes she received were simply not enough to make her not be the best Killer.

Given how easy she is compared to some other Killers and what results she gets, she really deserves a big rework. Like, Blight is the second-best Killer, but Blight is way harder to learn overall. The learning curve for Nurse is really steep at the start, but once you got the muscle memory, there is not much else to do to win most of your games. With Blight, you have an easier time at the start (you can use his rushes just for mobility), but the more time you put into him, the more complex it gets. Other examples are Billy, Huntress or Oni, all are easier to pick up, but when it comes to mastering them, they are way harder than Nurse.

Also, all of those actually play the game.

It just shows how busted she is when she was nerfed 3 times in the past and there was never a question that she is the best Killer in the game.

I think Nurse power should be depleted every time she's stop using power/hit a survivor. if Nurse hit you with 1 blink. You're pretty much down right after, because Nurse only need half a time to get their powers back

If you notice the pattern, killers that on high tier mostly have their power bar auto filled with speed. Blight, Wesker, Spirit, Artist...May have the same rule applied to them.

You always have to be very careful when you trying to change Nurse or Blight. Once these killers become weaker than some licensed killers, the game will become P2W (pay to win). (If Wesker or Xeno or etc, become the strongest killers in the game, DBD will become a P2W game).

And this is a very bad reputation, believe me.

She minds breaking line of sight though, and unless you are really good on her is a nightmare to play on indoor maps, I like that her counterplay is unique and parts of the map that are usually useless are basically quite good against her, for example the edge map... I will however say that it would be nice if the maps offered more against her, as some maps have very limited high walls, basically leaving you with little to work with. However I think there is much you can do against Nurse and she is one of my favorite killers to go against.

Let’s just keep nerfing her until she’s immobile, blind, and can’t attack. Maybe then survivors will be happy 🙂

I mean you can significantly nerf blights add-ons like what is likely about to happen and he will still be stronger than wesker/spirit. Nurse can go and blight can be number 1, he deserves it far more than nurse. I'd be fine with wesker being the strongest too but as you said license.

Nerf. Give her more ways to counter her. Make her stun hitbox larger and stuns more punishing. I don’t know how badly this would hurt, but maybe give a little indicator to where she will blink? Kinda like how pyramid head works but just being a small dot to where she’s blinking to.

Also she still has pretty good add-ons for an already busted killer so nerf those too.

That would basically do nothing when the Nurse flicks, you realise that?

Well it is funny how much she has been nerfed and still she's the strongest killer by far. I imagine the same people who have said she's "fine" all these years are still defending her game breaking mechanics.

Nurse is a relic of old hide and seek design. Her power will never be balanced. As it stands, you can simply never be better than the Nurse. She can only be worse than you. No matter how many hurdles or limitations we place on her, the concept of ignoring all mechanics from pallets/vaults/walls/elevation will always be absurdly strong. Killers like Shape/Oni have to wait patiently to use power and only receive it in short bursts. Killers like Trapper/Plague have to travel to search out their power. How is it fair that Nurse can use the full potential of her kit at all times?

She's absurdly-strong and there's not really much you can do to counter her. If the person playing her is good, then 90%+ of survivors are going to lose, fast, against her.

Look at all the "no perks or addons" winstreaks that Nurse players can get. Yes, they're undoubtedly very skilled with her, but those kind of winstreaks should be impossible.

There's literally one single person doing a no perks no add-ons streak on nurse and he's the first one to admit that he should easily get at least 3 outed like this. Why is he not? Literally because 99% of survivors are terrible and go in complete panic as soon as a killer plays in a "sweaty" way (proxy camping, tunneling), again, while he's perk less and addonless!

And I gotta say, watching his streak is infuriating because god are most survivors so clueless at this game. So let's nerf nurse to pander to this kind of players

    There would still be complaints.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but some people are taking this "Nurse hate" to the extreme.

I feel like its too late now for a nurse rework, she has been in the game for 7 years, at this point she is a cog in the machine but its also hard to numbers change her because if you change her numbers her base movement speed can very easily mean she can't ever catch up to survivors

  • Krazzik
    Krazzik Member Posts: 2,475

I mean if 99% of players can't play against a good Nurse, that sorta shows she's too strong.
