Déjà Vu vs Trail
As a survivor that uses Déjà Vu at all times, it would be ideal if certain perks, that effect generator. such as Trrail of Torment, would be more dominant. By that i mean, other visual indicators should overlap Déjà Vu.
In many occasions I had no idea Trail was in the game.
This, ofcourse, would be acounted for other perks, like blastmine or wiretap.

No, that's more fun.

We need more aura colors. For generators, we only have red, yellow, and white, and yellow can mean a dozen different things at this point.

This is already a strong perk that gives 6% gen efficiency for loading into the match, a minor downside is healthy.

The game needs more aura colors in general. In theory Eruption and Surveillance would work well together, but Eruption's gen marking overrides Surveillance's gen marking. It's annoying.
Overall full agree and the problem goes deeper than just deja vu.

Yea, they need to do a pass on all the perks and perk interactions that change a gen's aura color. I think something along the lines of: Highlighted in yellow if positive effect, highlight in pink if negative effect (similar to buff/debuff colors), and white if blocked, as well as a 4th color if under the effects of a positive and negative effect simultaneously.
They also really need to do a pass on every perk that changes a gen's aura color to decide if they're really necessary. For example, Better Together would serve exactly the same purpose if it showed the survivor's aura instead of the generator's. And is Eruption marking gens for the killer really even necessary?
