Why do I have to do it twice
Okay so I have to do that stupid blind the killer twice while they carry a survivor I was able to do it once...NOT AGAIN AFTER THAT why do I have to do it twice the killer will start looking around if people bring flashlights or better yet if they get blinded while picking up it drives me insane only chance I have of completely this challenge is if I get a farming killer which is funny because I'll get one WHEN I'M NOT EVEN DOING THE CHALLENGE. Please if your requiring a master challenge at blinding a killer while they carry once have me do it once because fun fact LIGHTBORN is a thing as far as I know you don't get any progress on the challenge because the killer can't be blinded. Plus the killer won't just go ahead and pick up THEY WILL CHECK AROUND so basically it's asking me to somehow have a killer who doesn't bring lightborn, isn't facing a wall or an off angle, I have to be in range, I have to get the blind correct and do it twice without being caught aka be chased instead.
Update: I'm about to lose it with constant DCs during loading matches and basically realizing that you have to throw the match just to complete this. I don't know what to do I DON'T EVEN LIKE FENG TO BEGIN WITH. I was able to blind once but at this point no I'm done unless they fix it to where you need to just blind once or simple make it not nightmarish since it requires so much to not go wrong it's remaining unfinished. I remember having to break 5 totems and escape I would rather do that again then this because at least there's a fighting chance and you don't have to throw the match.

It's a challenge. A challenge. It's level four and skippable. Just bring a flashlight and try and learn how they work.

I know how a flashlight works. The problem is the killer will start checking the area if they realize a person is flashlight saving.
3 -
And? Do people really need to complain about every challenge that isn't brain dead easy and might take a few games?

I would rather blame BHVR's dumb Challenge design philosophy for survivors, like killers can have some rough ones, but Survivor ones tend to just suck.
Half they time they border on just asking too much, like this one, or throwing the game essentially, like the typical cleanse 10+ totems.
Dont even get me started on the Glyphs, Green ones can burn in a fire.

Asking too much? It's twice, and you don't even have to get the save, so you can do it while they're hooking. Just play normally with a flashlight and you'll get it done in a few games.
2 -
You are correct okay let's say they wanted to make another blind the killer while they carrying someone. Just pull the background player route have it he once with X perk or you have to do this afterwards.

You just need to get the blind afaik, not the save. Can do it while they're in the hooking animation too, can also take flashbang to help out and increase your odds.

If you are survivor main and don't want to play killer for reaching the end of the tome page it is not skippable because the other route have a bugged challenge (the one which ask you to achieve three great skillchecks in a row).
I'm against challenges being that hard too, if killers are not braindead they will be blinded once and they usually pick up the survivor facing a wall and also there are a lot of people not used to blind the killer while carrying a survivor. I would keep the blinding challenges as just blinding, which is not hard to achieve after dropping a pallet in chase.
And as someone stated above the killer challenges are way easier than survivor ones and survivor ones make you usually play badly and/or waste time.

There are multiple ways through level four of the tome doing just survivor challenges and you can skip the blinding and skill check ones.
There are multiple killer challenges that make you play abnormally in this tome. Running Zanshin and Nemesis on Oni definitely isn't the normal way to play Oni.

But playing the oni with that perks doesn't force you to play abnormally, just make you use a less efficient build.

i hate all "do it in one trial" challenges. stun the killer 4 times in one trial. good luck with that unless it's some m1 killer on gideon.

And how is that different from getting people to learn how to use a flashlight? You see flashlights in most games. Suddenly, there's a challenge to blind the killer twice and they're forcing you to sabatoge games?
If it was get 5 flashlight saves in a game, I'd personally enjoy something like that, but I'd understand people complaining about it. But it's twice, and you don't need to get the save. Come on now.

The blind killer challenge twice make you sabotage your game because you should be following the killer and other survivor being chased while hidding to try to blind the killer and good luck because maybe the survivor is downed in a way in which he can be picked up while facing a wall/rock/whatever and very possibly in the next chase the killer will check the surroundings to avoid being blinded if he can't pick up the survivor while facing a wall.

If I remember correctly, the blast mine also count as stun, so when there are a challenge of stunning the killer I use that perk.

Yeah, I don't get this whole "well, it's a challenge, it's supposed to be challenging" when you can compare them to Killer challenges which essentially boil down to "just keep doing the things you're already supposed to do".
Seriously, Killer challenges are just "chase people", "hit them with your weapon", maybe a little fancy "make use of this perk". Meanwhile Survivor challenges are always something like "win a Gold medal in a triathlon while composing a thesis on thermodynamics in the same month".
And then you take into account that at least when you're doing a Killer challenge, then it's all on you and how you play the game. But on the other hand as a Survivor you're dependent on your teammates, who might not feel like playing the game that day and just bring you down. Or, and this is my "favorite" part, might throw the game because they're doing their OWN stupidly convoluted Rift missions.
I mean, here I am just trying to clear the damned "escape a trial with random perks", which can already be fairly tricky, but one of the other Survivors just isn't repairing generators or doing anything which will help the team. Instead they're just circling the Killer, waiting for them to down and try to pick a Survivor, so they can try to do the damned "blind the Killer two times in the same trial" thing. You never have to deal with that sort of crap when you're doing a Killer mission.

Agreed, once is enough of a challenge or make it to be able to do on multiple matches, its the only challenge remaining and its just going to stay there

That's the thing I don't mind doing blinding challenges when it's like blind the killer 10 times and it doesn't say while they carry someone because I don't have to throw a match instead flashlight or maybe a few blinding perks then just play the match normally I might not win but I'm not throwing the match.

Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever gotten 2+ flashlight saves in a game before
Maybe when pip ranking existed and rank reset happened

claudette with darkest clothing.
Background player, bond, light footed, vigil. (If you have all these”
bring dead dawg.
Get those beam saves.

Honestly the best way to do this challenge I found is just to abandon trying to flashlight save a survivor and just follow them to the hook and blind the killer while they're hooking. The killer is still considered to be carrying the survivor while they hook so you can get the challenge done very easily that way. You can also throw on background player to guarantee you get a good angle at the hook to be able to blind.
Trying to do flashlight saves just took too long and doing hook blinds was an instant challenge done.

Same. Unless you're up against a noob killer, this is easily the most difficult tome in the chapter. You manage to pull it off on the killer once, they'll never let it happen again the rest of the trial. Or tunnel you out for trying. With how fast gens go and some killers able to burn through survivor teams like a woodchipper, many trials just don't last long enough to line up a good second attempt anyway.
I don't like leaving any chapter pages incomplete, but this one's here to stay I guess.

The problem is nit trying to throw the match either.
