How do you feel about communication between survivors in a match?

Do you think it would enhance the game if Survivors had improved communication about their perks during a match? This could involve displaying their perks next to their name or having the perks visible when encountering other Survivors, allowing for better coordination.

Often, certain perks in Dead by Daylight remain underused not because they're ineffective, but because they rely on teammates being aware that someone has them. For instance, imagine having Unbreakable and being able to turn a difficult situation into a win, only to realize your teammates left early because they didn't know about your ability to self-recover. While Unbreakable is strong on its own, this scenario illustrates the issue.

Do you think there should be a more efficient way for Survivors to communicate their perks during gameplay? Perhaps integrating this as a perk itself, allowing players to reveal the perks of their fellow Survivors.

As a solo survivor player I'd love to see everybody else's perks. A lot of the time it wouldn't make a difference, so it would not be too unbalanced, but like you say in certain situations it would be useful.

The only issue is where are they shown? The other survivors' photos are already quite small. Adding 12 perk emblems to the screen and having them all big enough to make out would be tricky.

You can know its unbreakable bc you see the faster recovery speed in the hud. But yh most people dont notice it.

An icon for having an self-unhook (anti-vamp or deliverance) would be great.

You could show it before the match, but that would maybe increase lobby dodging.

Deliverance should really give an indication to all other survivors. Like a loud sound notification when you attempt to unhook yourself, or an icon appears the way Kindred does.

Yeah, Perks should be visible ingame. Just by pressing ESC (or the respective button for Console), next to each name should be a list of Perks.

It would bridge the gap between Solos and SWFs, because sometimes it can be important to know what Perks others are having. E.g. if I know that someone has BT or We Will Make It, I would probably let them do the Unhook. Or if I know that someone else is being chased and has Adrenaline, I would focus even more on Gens. Obviously Devliverance and Unbreakable are also important things.

    1) Perk loadout should be visible in the lobby. I understand there's going to be some increased lobby dodging, but the game is waaay past the point of needing this feature. It's non negotiable.

    2) Reassurance should pop up next to the survivor's name/icon on the HUD with a little timer.

    3) An active Deliverance should pop up next to the survivor's name/icon when they are hooked so nobody wastes time.

    4) An active DS should do the same thing, to avoid the rest of the team popping the last gen and disabling it. Bonus points for DS into Adrenaline play.

    4) I would personally like for all perks to be on the hud and light up on use, but this could be very clunky, so I'm not dead set on it. But many perks need to be communicated.

    In lobby first.

In match they can change ping screen, it pointless to see pings and offerings here. Just rework this screen and whenever survivor clicks esc, they will see what perks others have

Its a good idea on paper, sadly in practice I think it would just lead to more lobby dodging.

A lot of players have a very narrow view of how the game should be played and wildly varying opinions on perks and why/who run them.

I'd also hate to see the UI become even more cluttered and intrusive. The original UI was very minimalist and I kinda miss it, I still think the new one is ugly and the portraits aren't great.

In a world where SWF didn't exist and you could balance everything around solo queue, it would make more sense for communication/info in match to be minimal. But we don't live in that world, so solo needs some extra info, but not too much. I actually think the HUD update gets us very nearly to the limit of where I feel it should go. Add a "going for the save" button and I'd call it a day for in game info additions.

That said, I've got weird sensibilities about things and tend to like what makes sense in the game world, and like for things to be "lore friendly" or at least consistent with the pretenses of the world.

For example, I don't like voice comms because I don't think survivors would be able to communicate cross map in the game world; it doesn't feel in the "spirit" of the game to me. It makes sense in modern shooters, but not in DbD.

On the other hand, it would make sense for survs compare perks when hanging out around the campfire, etc., so I think being able to see each other's perks pre-match is something that should happen.

If it's displayed anywhere during a match, let it be in the Esc menu. Displaying even more perks in a rather small space makes the HUD real messy, real fast.

Escape menu and also on loading, like it is on mobile. You can put it in the lobby too, even if some people were going to dodge, they are the same people that would kill themselves on hook when the slightest thing goes wrong, so that's not that big of a deal to me.

I also think that a survivor's anti-camp progress bar should show on the HUD
