Huntress “Tweak” Predictions
My guess is she will get normal movement speed with a major nerf to her hatchets, potentially range and/or needing 2 hatchets to take a health state.

I sure as hell hope not... That sounds terrible to play.
The Huntress tweak baffles me for I really don't see Huntress needing changes. Her basekit is great, high skill ceiling, pretty good add-on selection. I fear it may be a Billy situation oncoming... Worst case scenario, that is.

Please, no! Just have a look at some of her add-ons, consider an alternative way to reload when no lockers are around and give her a crosshair.
I really hope they won't do something like this. It is one of the highest forms of skill expression possible and I have only seen 2 players do that more or less reliable. Is it strong? Sure but when a player reaches that level, they should be pretty scary.

I'd be very surprised if they made her 115% base. She's the staple "110% movement speed, ranged ability" killer and that would remove her identity completely. I'm guessing add-on tweaks and maybe something to nerf her ability to camp hooks.

2 hatchets for a health state? No way everyone would stop playing it

They decreased Trickster’s throw rate AND the number of knives need to remove a health state. On top of this, the laceration meter drains FASTER.
His power is now reserved for throwing at tbagging Survivors after they crushed an M1 Killer.
This is the same group who will be adjusting Huntress.

i highly doubt any of that, what? the devs have always spoken highly about huntress’s design and basekit and all of those changes would make no sense for them to do at all?
if i were to guess, maybe a reduction in hatchet hitbox size again, but compensation buffs (faster windup, smaller environment hitbox, faster projectile). cause that’s the one thing that people still do complain about with huntress.

I think she'll get 4.6 speed when out of hatchets (and the add-on that does that gets reworked). I don't think the hatchets themselves will be touched at all.

That is my thought too. She can camp outside the unhook radius, so they will butcher her whole power.

My guess based on the usual frustration/talking points around Huntress would be to have a look at some of the more egregious cases of her scoring hits vs. hitboxes...
That's the only thing I could imagine would be a legitimate complaint worth looking at... though a lot of that isn't really Huntress' fault... so I'm really not sure wgat BHVR intend to target. 🤔
Maybe something to do with her iri add-on?

She's a highly skill dependant killer. I don't think she needs any "tweaks".

BHVR already said that the 'tweaks' just mean number changes, nothing major. I very, very much doubt she'll be made 115%

I just hope they don’t touch her crossmap hatchets. It’s fun to play against and it takes a lot of skill to do it.

I think she is fine the way she is. Its not like she is an easy win killer. Crossmap hatchets take a lot of skill and practice. I do have a feeling they are going to change her movement speed since they did it to Trickster which I don't want. Hopefully they listen to us. Not to be selfish but I'm praying for a good pig buff.

If I'd have to guess they're probably going to be looking at some of her add ons since some of them are.. questionable. The good add ons I see being changed/reworked are the Bandaged and Oak Haft as they're VERY to just stay near the hook and 2 tap anyone going for the save, or even the person on hook whenever they save themselves.
As for the rest of the killers, I see them doing something similar to Hag where they reduce her effectiveness while camping. Maybe add a limit at how far she can place traps near a hook similar to Merchant, or make it so she pops out of a trap slower similar to Larry or Dredge TP
Pig most likely a change to her crouch and add ons
Doc and Clown are 2 killers that can cause accessibility issues so I can see that being addressed. Other than a review of their add ons I'm not so sure what they'd do.

Would you have said the same thing about Trickster a couple months ago? He just got some number changes despite an incredible nerf.
Best predictor of what BHVR will do is what they have done before, the more recent the more informative.

My best guess is that they'll probably start removing insta down add ons, which would explain why she's in the same update as clown.

If you want to parse words, they never said Huntress is getting a “little tweak.”
That said you are taking vague PR wording over a proven track record which you choose to ignore. A disaster indeed.

I just don't care as much as you do. Killers certainly aren't these huge victims, and they're probably just touching her camping ability. I just prefer to see what they do before having a mental breakdown over a video game character. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong - but it certainly isn't a disaster, it's a couple pixels on a screen.
I'm just tired of everybody caring so much. This game used to be fun.

It says in the roadmap Blight add-ons are bring adjusted. Suggesting every other Killer on there is having their core power affected.

No clue. Maybe give her a penalty if she's near the hook, clearly camping. They might ot touch her ability to camp, who knows. I'm just tired of all the over dramatizing.
Also, i wanted to apologize if I came across as agressive - I've had a bad day and took it out on the forums.

1) Changed to 115% speed.
2) Hatchet hitbox made smaller.
3) Prevented from aiming hatchets super vertically, to stop the cross-map hatchets.

If i wanted a buff for huntress, it would be faster wind-up. Currently huntress has base-wind up 1.25 and has to charge to 3 seconds. It would be nice if they changed this to be faster such as 0.75-2.5. since they gave trickster 115%, i can see huntress becoming 115%.
