So as everyone already know, the "flashlight-locker" bug is back, and survivors in my matches were exploiting the living hell out of this bug right from the start of the match, this is screenshots of my THIRD match like this, when I had enough of that.
Unfortunatelly I'm playing Xeno only atm, and I couldn't do anything about this bug, so after a few matches like this I decided to stop wasting my time on bug exploiters and let them leave as fast as possible. At the end of the match the Nea (the one who were exploiting) "felt bad", so she run to me and put her item in front of me, and pointed at the hook. I refused to hook her at the end and told her to leave through gates. This match was a 100% 3-4k for me, I was having 6 hooks at 4 gens all on different survivors, aside from that Nea (she literally kept hiding each time I approaching her and clicking her flashlight). 0 tunneling btw, as I usually playing.
It really upsets me when players knowingly exploiting to take advantage over the other side, it speaks for how such embarrassing players doesn't give a single "S" about playing fair.
Dear players, don't be like that, it's embarrassing and you only gonna get in troubles (this is literally a bug exploit).
Guys, play fair, be a good sports. I understand that killer players can be a "pain in the A", but they don't deserve to deal with this crap. It's very disapointing. And I hope it will be fixed ASAP.

It says a lot about players when they not only abused this the first time, but immediately pounced on it again. Every survivor needs to report them, because playing "fair" shouldn't been seen as an anomoly or a disadvantage.

I can't stand how some people will not just shamelessly exploit bugs, but then act as if they are compelled to do so just because they can. Like "what do you expect me to do?" Can people not even process the idea of having access to an unfair advantage, and simply not using it? I bet not, it's some sort of mental defect some people share.
I mean, how gratifying is it to "win" that way?

Flashlights are only killswitched if you restart your client.

Having flashbacks to when the only time breakdown was used was because it was bugged and disabled hooks permanently

I already have seen Survivors saying it is fine to Exploit and abusing this Bug because the Killers are tunneling so until tunneling is fixed ( it never will because killing Survivors is the Killers objectiv ) Survivor should be allowed to abuse this Bug 🤦🏻♀️

The only way to get them is to hit them through walls, or from behind the locker as the backs have no collision

We do have a really good survivor players which are really good sports.
Once they noticed that their teammate doing that, they were trying to pull them off the locker, yes, they were helping the killer at this point, but will you report them for doing that? There is not a single morale way to even think so.
Other teammates can prevent this or they can join.
The other thing that really sucks - now everyone just lost flashlights for unknown period of time. Even the ones who were trying to prevent their teammates from exploiting.

As Survivor, I'm pretty sure I saw someone get in a locker and it pushed them out.

I am am very fair and in general friendly killer, but if someone is abusing exploits or using cheats, they are going to stay on the floor for the rest of the match.

Well, this is what you get when people start cheating in your game and you don't ban them, that you make them believe that somehow "bug exploiting" is not cheating and they even have the right to do it as they know they are not going to get punished for it.
The question here is, are BHVR going to ban those players this time to make example so they learn the lesson? Because last time I reported 6 people, and not a single one of them got banned.

Ban them. Each and everyone of them. They didn´t learn their lesson on the first time, because nothing happend and will happily exploit whenever this bug resurfaces. So the only way i see, is to ban them.
This is something that completely ruins the game for everyone else.

Especially when killswitching doesn't even completely prevent the problem. Survivors can still loot flashlights from chests meaning all the killswitch is doing is preventing the easiest methods of having a flashlight.

Yeah idk when bhvr got this opinion of "we won't ban because its a bug we caused" when survivors or killers literally go out of their way to abuse it. There was bugs like lightspeed nurse or legion where people actually got banned in the past. So it was sometime between now and the.

Relax, they killswitched the reason that was caussing the exploit. (Flashlights) But it has to be fixed before holidays.

IIRC, a dev stated that since the killswitch exists to turn off problems, there's no need to mass bans over an exploit since the problem can be disabled. The problem is that flashlights can't be fully killswitch due to chests existing.

well, it is in the rules that its (temporary) ban worthy, unless they changed their minds:
- Exploit bugs, errors in design, or undocumented features to gain access to what otherwise would not be available or to obtain a competitive advantage
- In-game report REQUIRED / Player Support ticket OPTIONAL
It says the support ticket is optional, but i feel like they'd definitely need video proof.

Last time the flashlight exploit popped up, people were asking about why not declare that it's bannable like they did with legion's infinite mending bug. And the response was they don't need to, because killswitch.
Of course this is just my memory of the last time, but the way it came across was they aren't going to ban people over a bug/exploit if they can killswitch the problem.

Considering how gamebreaking it is and the fact that it is killswitched should be all the reason more to issue bans. Considering there is a method that people are still using flashlights, nobody's doing it by accident.

Got two of them while playing killer yesterday, they held me hostage in shack. Recorded the game and for once submitted a full report, that ######### was annoying af. Hopefully you did so too, this was an actually bannable offence last time it happened
