Survivors can have increased unhooking speed perks
but killers can't have increased hooking speed perks. Talking about double standards...
I'm joking but for real why can't we have Fire Up with increased hooking speed?

I mean, sure. Let's them cook this perk. But i doubt killers will drop anti-gen perks for this.
But it would make Fire Up better actually.

Killers hooking faster just isn't that important of an increase. Once you begin the animation, you can't stop the hooking anyways. So it's not like hooking faster will stop sabos or prevent flashlight saves.
Whereas survivors unhooking faster can mean the difference between getting interrupted and finishing the unhook before being hit.

But it does mean that the survivor who was nearby gets chased quicker. Every second matters to both sides.

While we are at it, I also want a killer version of "Left Behind" to even the playing field a little bit 😎

In theory, but no one is going to run faster hooking perks to begin with, because the value of them is so minor the point that it doesn't really exist.

I mean it could actually be a small buff to fire up, without making a whole new perk nobody would use

I'd rather 1% haste per stack.

I'm just stating that the reason we haven't see faster hooking perks on the killer side is because there's practically no value in that buff.

Depends on how big the buff, we dont think BHVR will ever do it but think of the possibility. If we may use abit of your argument "Whereas survivors unhooking faster can mean the difference between getting interrupted and finishing the unhook before being hit." then Hooking faster can mean the difference to catching up to a survivor before they reach a safer area.

We have had faster hooking in the past, most recently with the last Halloween event, and it was... fine.
I kinda agree with the sentiment that we don't have it because it's largely useless, but at the same time, I would like to see it added to Fire Up just because that perk already affects a few things no other perk does and it'd be nice to see it become even more unique even if it doesn't quite get stronger.

Agitation should get this too

Nobody would run it unless its slapped on to another perk as a secondary effect

i don't think we need any more haste perks.

I'd much rather have a perk that increases the speed of picking survivors off the ground

Hooking speed wouldn't really help killers much. To be fair, with hook-grabs removed, unhooking speed isn't that good either.
