What killers are fun?
One of the things that are important for this game is fun. If we talk about killers, best killers are those who are both fun to play as and verse. I am curious, which killers do you guys feel are fun for both sides, and which killers are not so fun for both sides?
--My experience--
Killers that I find really fun to play as, and fun to verse:
- Huntress, Bubba, Deathslinger, Blight* , Nemesis, Wesker, Xenomorph** , Chucky***
Killers that I find bad or miserable to play as and against:
- Knight****
(*) I rarely play as Blight, but his bouncing is fun and the hits satisfying. Also, I love facing Blights, unless they are god tier, and/or use the broken addons
(**) Xeno is fun to face unless my teammates don't set-up turrets
(***) I don't yet own Chucky, but from what I've seen, he seems really fun to play as. I love versing him though, both due to his dash mechanic, as well as the funny commentary. xD And he and Tiffany are cute.
(****) the brown addon "Map of the Realm" is required, if I want to be able to do anything, the guard placement is too finnicky, experienced survivors use techs to trick guards. Playing against him also feels bad.

Nemesis, Xeno, Chucky and Wesker are super fun killers.
They can remove Trickster, Twins and Hag any time they want. I just hate so much these 3.

Fun is subjective of course, but if we would ask every player in DBD and make a poll, Wesker would come out on top. So many Wesker mains and most survivors like him. If not Wesker, Demogorgon, or Blight would take the cake. Billy might be the most fun killer to play against, but there are not that many Billy mains out there anymore.
Most unfun would go without a doubt to The Twins. Nobody likes to play them (lowest pick rate) and survivors vote them for top 3 most disliked killer all the time.

I really enjoy playing Deathslinger, because it feels so good if I get multiple Iri-Coin-Instadowns.
Oni, Dredge, Blight, Wesker, Xenomorph and Demogorgon are also really fun to play.

Fun to verse: Blight (provided they're not running one of the broken combos), Wesker, Nemo and Pyramid head (provided they don't come with a proxy-camping/tunneling license), Piggy (provided she doesn't do the "funny" hex thing) ... more or less indifferent to most of the other killers.
As for killers I wish I could make disappear? Twins, Chucky, Xeno, Clown (the effect literally makes me want to throw up, so no thanks), Wraith (but only the speedy silent hit n run Wraith - you know which one)

Killer that fun to play as are basically that you are comforing in control or using power + you like them aesthetically.
For example, killers I hate to play: Oni, Blight, Billy (great design but cannot control at all), Legion, Merchant (easy to control, but trash design and lore)
I like very much Sadako, Plague, Huntress, Pig, and now Chucky. Also Artist and Spirit, but they all require a lot of warmup to get used to their powers, you cannot just "ignite and go".
To play against: every killer is fine when no camping and tunneling. So it's basically players, not killers.
Therefore killers I hate to go against are Bubba, Nemesis, Pyramidhead and Trickster. But if their players are not miserable, they are all fine.
Plus I struggle with stealth killers (like Ghostface), but its not that I don't like to go against them, it's just I never win.

Right now? I think Myers, Sadako, Huntress, Pig and Bubba are all fun to play as and against.
As for miserable to play as and against, Ghostface still has the crown of "GeneralV's most hated killer in the entire game".

The only ones I really dislike playing against are Skull Merchant, Twins, Hag, Blight, Onryo, and Nurse. In the case of twins and onryo you just spend way too much time being slugged. It's terrible gameplay that makes me want to shut my computer off. Nurse and Skull Merchant need complete reworks to be enjoyable to play against. I am hopeful that the changes to Hag and Blight will have a bigger effect on gameplay than I think they will.

This is an amalgamation of both to play as and against and I forgot onryo but she's dumpster tier.

I enjoy strategy games which translate to my preferred killers. Artist and Knight I enjoy the most though Knight can really use some QoL improvements. Wesker doesn't have much strategy to him, but he's fun and fair for both sides. The robot killer can also be fun, but he requires way too much fast thought processing and quick actions so I burn out playing the robot rather quickly.
As long as it's not a sweaty/strong player that's using Blight or Nurse I don't mind the killer i play against. I find Myers with both iri add ons to instant kill really fun as no other killer is able to straight up murder you. Ghostface with iri mori also fun as I try to photo bomb him every time. 🤣

Huntress and Nemi are some of my favorites due to being able to dodge attacks.
Wesker WOULD be higher up for me but he is in F tier as I play against him way too much

Really like: Chucky, Wesker, plague, demo, twins
Really dislike: skull merchant, legion and hellraiser
Reasons for dislike are about all the same for all killers in that category for me: the games just seem to be so endlessly stretched out sometimes that it becomes a funsponge

Nurse and huntress are my favs right now. I love the prediction and other trick blinks on nurse, I don't play her as most people do by the way.
Anna on the other hand there's nothing more satisfying than the orbital into lob double hit.
Freddy finishes up my love triangle, I know he's rough to play but I still enjoy him.
I haven't tried chucky yet but he looks so fun. Xeno is cool, nemmy and demo are really fun for me.
I loathe billy I just suck with him though lol, and I don't or will ever own skill merchant.
Everyone else is pretty decent for me.

For me its Mikey.
He's one of the most versatile killers with builds and play styles, he feels like Michael from the Halloween movies. As survivor he still gives me jump scares and brings a sense of horror feeling to Dbd.

Sorry, Pig is very weird where playing her feels like you have no chase power to me which is frustrating but against her the traps are a massive headache in soloQ because people will just pop gens and trigger your trap without thinking so it's frustrating on both ends.

Haha maybe, Jonah bro. Still, it's been very interesting seeing what killers are most picked by people in like/dislike category. :)
Maybe this will serve as a guide for BHVR which type of killers we mostly gravitate to, so they can design future killers more according to what we find fun. I feel like in recent years, Chucky and Wesker have been huge wins, and the Knight and the Skull Merchant have shown what players dislike.

She has a chase power. She's also arguably the best m1 killer in the game. If you dig that, you dig the pig.

Lmao, yes the pig is the best m1. Not even close when things like singularity and dredge exist. Looping a pig is prob one of the easiest feats achivable in the game. Also that supposed chase power (the ambush) only works if the survivors lack any knowledge of how to loop.

Absolutelly, I suck at survivor very hard but I think handling a pig is no big deal. However maybe in like 5-6 hours as I am in uni atm.
