Do you think survivors should have individual running styles/idle animations in game?
Title says all. Would be a great way to show off the personality of the characters, but that’s just my opinion.

Survivors are just “skins” the only thing unique about them is the way they look or their cosmetics.
I was thinking about that too sometime ago but I’m afraid it probably won’t ever happen. Maybe though!!

It is, I know— but I’d like to open up the topic on survivor animations, since people were talking about killers in a few posts.

I don't care one way or another, but this seems like an irrelevant addition that you'd almost never notice, when the art team could spend their time designing something you'll actually notice, like entirely new characters or maps.

It would be a lot of time on the Dev's times that they would not want, for sure I think 100% killers should have different animations considering that they are different all together, but survivors are basically a tier 2 cosmetic when the clothes for the survivor are tier 1, I could play Jeff or David and gameplay wise, no difference, just different looks.

Yes! Anything that adds some individuality to survivors. Hell, I’d even go as far as suggestions that each survivor could have their own passive trait

That's a lot of effort for no profit.
They said they would do free stuff whenever they can afford to, but something like this doesn't seem high priority, especially that they would have to make more effort each new Survivor.
I mean, they scrapped Tinkerer because of the extra work.

They do have their own. In the lobby. Maybe they could have their own running animations but that's about it. But it's really only a quality of life thing. So I doubt we'll get it.

To be fair, David already looks, runs and sounds like a gorilla in this game. That's good enough for me.

Eh, i always wanted Tapp to have that run that he did in Saw, but now that i think about it, i think i'm fine with the stuff we have now.

I'd love to see it but I don't think the devs have the time to do it, there's more important issues to address at the moment, like bugs. Perhaps we could see this in a future when the game is near perfection though

I mean they did make different idle animations around the campfire, and for lobby, which weren't needed. So I think if they can do that then creating animations to make survivors more than just skins would be quite neat.

Nah thats unnecessary if you ask me, there are enough real issues the devs have to deal with....
