Did anyone ever scold a player in game?

When I first started DBD, I missed skill checks a lot. I'll never forget the time a Leon clicked flashlight at me because I missed a skill check on a gen. Back when you could fast click. Like that player was god's gift to DBD. I started using Feng with technician after that. Now I'm moderately better and when I'm on a gen with a player who misses skill checks I just keep going. I even make myself highly visible when the killer comes. To be honest, I do shake my head at tea bagging and tunneling. Sometimes the player stops, sometimes they double down on that play style. Whatever. It's not really my business to police gamer activity. No one I know likes that kind of bad conduct.

I typcially stop and just stare at them. They usually hop off the gen and stare back briefly before I wiggle and nod, then we hop back on the gen lol.

ATM, I throw a snowball at them :)

When someone fails a skillcheck next to me I’ll look at them for 2 seconds

If someone blows up the gen I'm on then I'll usally give em a couple of bags before carrying on. I expect the same when I mess up.

If they're on a gen and its one time, no big deal. It can happen.

If it happens 2 or more times, I either stop working on gen and stare at them OR I immediately leave and go find another gen by myself (this in 99% of those situations).

I usually just ignore them and continue working on that gen. Someone has to recover the progress they lost by missing the skill check.

If I am the one who missed the skill check however... then I ignore whatever they do and continue working on the gen, because then I will recover the progress.

It is all about finishing that gen.
