Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Can console get some form of aim down sight multiplier?

Not entirely sure what the correct term for it is, but you know when you play an FPS game you have an aim down sight multiplier, allowing you to slow down your aim for a more precise shot.

Would it be possible for DBD to introduce something along those lines?

For example with either Trickster or Huntress, you have a sensitivity multiplier when "aiming" your hatchet or knives that allows a slower camera movement.

This would also benefit killers such as Pinhead, Nurse, The Twins... Any killer that requires precision on their secondary.

It's somewhat present on Pyramid Head and it greatly helps aiming your secondary attack.

Something like this in my opinion would greatly help controller players, allowing more precision. Even mouse users could benefit from this.

Thanks! Have a wonderful New year's.

Its called aim assist, i think theres already a form of aim assist in the game for normal swings but not powers like this. Not sure if there should be.

Why aren't you sure if there should be?

Controller players are at a disadvantage compared to mouse and keyboard, so what's the harm in bridging that gap with something like an ADS multiplier allowing easier access to killers that may be avoided due to playing on controller?

I'm not asking for an automatic tracking like you suggest, I'm suggesting a modifier that allows slower camera movements on controller when you are aiming hatchets for example.

I can't think of many games baring Dead by Daylight where this isn't implemented, the majority of games where you a throwing something or trying to aim at something there is a multiplier slowing down the camera, there is a reason for this and I believe Dead by Daylight would greatly benefit from this also.
