Why should I pick Blindness over Undetectable?

Undetectable is a billion times better than Blindness. Why should I?

In what scenario are you typically choosing between these two?

There aren't many add ons that have Undetectable, and those that do are higher rarity or more conditional, while Blindness tends to be more accessible/common.

You shouldn't pick Undetectable over Blindness for no reason. Yes Blindness is weak (except against Solo Q) and undetectable is better under most circumstances but it still depends on your build and plan. If you wanna delay saves and waste time, blindness is typically better. You can also bait them into destroying trapped Hex totems like Haunted Grounds by using Hex the Third Seal. Not to mention that Blindness is better on Killers that either so loud and huge that undetectable means much less (Huntress, Nemesis etc.) or have undetectable already in their kit like Pig, Skull Merchant, Ghostface etc.

With all the people running Windows of Opportunity now, blindness can be pretty useful. There is a noticeable difference when survivors can't remember where the pallets are.

Blindness counters WoO, which immediately wins you the game against a good chunk of players.

That's what I was about to say- It's a pretty underrated status effect if being used in chase on killers who can easily apply it with their addons such as Clown's yellow addon that causes Blindness for getting slowed and Skull Merchant's brown addon that causes perma-Blindness as long as the Claw Trap stays on the survivor.
