Kill switching killers
I don’t understand why the devs keep kill switching killers and reworking them when I haven’t seen them kill switch a single survivor or rework very many of their addons. You have to face usually multiple survivors at a time and chances are they at least one of them has a flashlight or something to blind you. The others usually body block you, sabotage the hook, or whatever. They really need to look into these so called exploits that killers use to get an advantage and start removing many of the mechanics of the survivor. When a killer gets an advantage against them, it’s almost an instant kill by the devs and a rework that almost totally guts their abilities. Yes they have some better but most have been gutted. They tend to listen mostly to survivor mains and very rarely killer mains. There is a reason that more often that not, the YouTubers that formerly watched that played this game have either quit altogether or play much less than before. This game has fallen way down from its former glory and is no longer very enjoyable to play. Pretty much all of the reviews that I have seen for this game now are horrible.

Flashlights and related perks were killswitched twice recently.
Any Means Necessary was killswitched at one point for 2 months.

Apart from voice effect and slight animation differences (between male & female Survivors) Survivors are effectively just skins of varying quality.
None of them have specific interactions with items or perks that the other Survivors don't have.
At worst, a cosmetic could potentially be killswitched if causing issues (I do believe a cosmetic was temporarily removed from the store due to clipping issues years ago).

They have killswitched very rapidly survivor perks that were allowing exploits (flashlight related ones when the locker exploit happened, Any Means when it allowed people to get outside of the map itself, etc.) Kill switched killers are killers that have a game breaking bug/exploit, such as now the Knight who could summon all 3 minions at once, Wesker when he could become literally invisible, and so on.
Trying to make not allowing exploits a side vs side argument and narrative is just wild. Since you don't enjoy the game as much anymore by what you say, please, take a break. It will help you tons with your mindset.
