Why do I always get hit after finishing a vault?
For the past 6 or so games, whenever I do any kind of vault I always seem to get hit AFTER the vault is entirely complete. There was one match where I vaulted off a tall surface. Halfway during my descent I magically get hit. Mind you, it was against a wraith that was half uncloaked AFTER I vaulted, and still managed to hit me.
Is this normal? I really don't understand it, what's even the point of vaulting anything if I'm going to be magically hit no matter what?

It's been like that for awhile. Some hits are incredibly frustrating. If the Killer has bad internet or is VPNing, then unfortunately that works to their advantage - on their side it shows you close to them while on your end you're further away. I played against a Legion the other day and I was halfway down a drop when I got hit. It's games like that it's really hard to fight the urge to ragequit lol

Yes this is the only game I've played where having bad internet works in the killers favor.
I gave up caring and just record it, send it to my friends/post it online and we all laugh at how ridiculous it is lol. None of them will touch the game because of it.
Every other game I've played you get a nice quick ban for using VPN, especially when you use it for an advantage. But hey, what do I know.

you get hit even when you hug a window let alone after a vault. mid vaults are also very bad so avoid them, just fake instead if you don't have a bit of a distance. but in most cases hits can be ridiculous because of lag on either side. lag for some reason gives you an advantage in this game somehow as killer but not survivor lol.

What other asymmetrical pvp games that feature 'killers' have you played?
'Favor the shooter' is something that's been true for years of online pvp gaming, and has to be for the game to function at all.
The difference is in this game, only one side is doing the shooting.
