Hitboxes
Its amazing that this game isn't review bombed because of this, larger games get a worse treatment for less things.
Will the hitboxes in this game ever be addressed. No its not always because of lag, I will not accept that, theres been plenty of acceptable latency games I've had among many others that have that quite frankly bullshit hits from killers. It just comes across very sloppy, and for a game now moving to switch I wonder will there ever be some sort of quality control? Or is that solely reserved for cosmetics now, as the game has gone way down hill since the addition of the store. Shows where their priorities are....
Also here's a tip, its not on console so why is it on PC. REMOVE THE END GAME CHAT. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble wasting time banning people for offensive messages post game. Use those employees time for a better purpose.
And please for gods sake fix the infinite loading screen and roller skating after dropping a pallet and stunning a killer, its not funny anymore. Kinda tired of seeing it in "funny moments" now, its just sad at this point...

Hitboxes are fine. Being hit across pallets and windows is *always* due to a misinterpretation between clients. Always latency.
End game chat is optional. You can close it.
Infinite loading screens are caused by many many different things and are hard to replicate. It's not that easy.
Roller skating was literally fixed in the PTB.

Hitboxes are not fine, the fact you actually say that speaks for your standards of what is acceptable in a game. You clearly have a high tolerance for poor standards. No stop recycling the same old bullshit, its not all to do with latency just run a quick youtube video of hitboxes in DBD, that's not all lag....
Like I said, I'll repeat again. They actually spend time banning people, what is the point of the end game chat? It seems like a HUGE waste of resources...
Infinite loading screens can be caused by many things, that is not the issue I do not care at this point. I do care that it is fixed preferably this year sometime, I wonder if it was on the cosmetic's level of priority list it would of been fixed in a heartbeat. But you speak on their behalf so thank you for your detailed response, but once again. I do not care, there is NO excuse for this absolute disgrace performance in a game that's not F2P but charges astronomical amounts for cosmetics.

hitboxes aren't fine at all they have indeed been increased, nurse attack can hit you when shes looking the other way ive done this on both playing her and going against her, huntress hatchets explode meaning they could hit the object next to you but because of the hitbox the hatch will hit you instead, billy well we all know billy seems to get you through objects.
I hardly think its to do with latency as ive been in lobbies with great latency and still got silly hits, myself as killer I have great internet and ive been put with survivors many many many times and still got silly hits on them when I know I should not have had.
the end game chat does need removing altogether its only ever really used for toxicity or you might get a gg from a survivor only if they escape like. its something that should be removed don't need it, you don't communicate with the killer all through the game so why at the end when the survivors are pissed.
infinite loading screens are an absolute joke right now, they said they "fixed" it but the actual fact is that they have not done this and im getting it worse now. sick of every other game now having to close the application down just to start it back up to see it all again. at what point does it make you feel like whats the point anymore?
roller skating still a bug and needs to go its unprofessional to see that its still in the game after all this time like everything else
as for cosmetics as much as they look good I do feel like effort and development from the team have shifted towards this instead of making the actual game itself smooth from bugs and balanced gameplay overall I do think the game is in a bit of a poor state.
stop with the cosmetics and use all available resources to help smooth the game out its a joke right now.

Hitboxes might not be perfect, but rarely cause any issues.
The only regular issue I come across is the weird auto aim towards awake survivors when playing freddy

Hitboxes are broken, but not only for survivors but for killers aswell. For example getting pallet stunned miles away, hitting the window frame while a survivor is still (medium) vaulting it etc etc

I love when a 110% killer somehow manages to hit me 1 second after following me off of a hill when my balanced landing kicks in.
I swear balanced landing actually leaves your hitbox behind for a very slight amount of time.
Today this has ruined my mood. I am so over getting downed with hits that looks like misses to me. Not to mention the complete randoness of pallet drops not working right.

Anything less then physical contact between the killers weapon and the survivor in unacceptable, people wouldn't have a problem with hitboxes if they weren't getting hit from 5 feet away, it creates a false sense of safety and makes you getting hit feel cheap irregardless to how far the killer actually was from you because of latency, it's all or nothing really. Fix it or the complaints will never end.

But they invest money to the cosmetic team instead into the bug fixing team. Its about WHERE to put your resources (money) and for many (including me) other feels like they put way to much recourses for cosmetics instead for actual coding and bug fixing.

Nobody has ever been hit from 5 feet away. Why are you pretending the problem is worse than it is?
And physical contact? Latency is built-in to the way information travels between your computer and the killer's. It's an unavoidable fact of life that information cannot travel faster than the speed of light; along with the time it takes to process things, that creates latency. It's physically impossible to guarantee both players see the exact same thing at the exact same time.

If I get hit from five feet away, then that means I’m lagging and rubber banding.

I saw: a hit that relates to a problem with the animation, hits through giant holes in walls (AKA: windows), a hit I couldn't even understand because the survivor believes spinning the camera accomplishes something, laggy hits, and pretty much all-around justifiable hits.
The only exception was the Hillbilly's chainsaw through a pallet. I assume this has to do with the animations, like the Nightmare's hit, but I'm not 100% sure.

Had a game where a Doctor smacked me right as I was sliding towards him on a pallet. Somehow the game registered him hitting through me and into the pallet and I got away scot-free. The hitboxes in this game make no darn sense.

So you are having problems with the animation? The animation is just a visual effect btw, has nothing to do with the actualling hitting mechanic
