Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

About Xenomorph's crawler mode

When the Xenomorph shifts to crawler mode, its threat range changes from 32m to 24m, but I feel that the surprise attack effect caused by this does not make much sense.

The warning sound emitted by the turret that Survivors can place is 41m, which is about the same as Wesker's threat range.

This warning sound is generated whether the Xenomorph is on the ground or in the tunnel, and it is no exaggeration to say that a surprise attack by the Xenomorph is almost impossible.

Even if this warning sound is to deal with the Xenomorph that comes out of the tunnel at high speed, the location where he comes out does not change during the game, so when the warning sound goes off, look towards the tunnel. That's all you need.

Therefore, I think it would be appropriate to set the turret's warning sound to 24m, which is the same as the threat range in crawler mode.

I think this would allow the survivors enough time to escape whether coming out of the tunnel or walking on the ground, while also allowing the Xenomorph to benefit more from crawler mode and tunnels.

Xenomorph is probably one of the most frustrating killers to play against ever in regards to power alone, if it's going have a ranged attack with practically no warning, and a method to remove crawler mode temporarily that MAYBE works 25% of the time, having a way to tell if they're coming towards you is practically a requirement.

While I agree the warning is not only tematic but also useful so it should be kept, you should look at some comp xeno matches buddy, idk why people say turrets dont work (maybe if xeno is using emergency helmet?), good survivor players can shut down the power in like 70% of scenarios with good turret positioning and pathing.

The warning is one of the benefits of playing around the flame throwers. The lower TR I'd still a nice effect for sneaking up on ppl who don't take the time to setup the flame thrower.
