PSA : Rift closes in 15 hours
Wanted to post this because i did not notice this myself until i just started playing. Didn't think it was ending this soon

Not sure why they don't just keep it up until the mid-chapter. Not a big deal though, it was easy to finish this one with both the Halloween and Christmas events contributing progression.

Hoping they put out a new one soon. I've already finished this one. The extra BPs and such are nice.

That's because they tend to drop the tomes and rifts alongside mid-chapters. Having the previous one extend all the way to the start of the next would give no downtime for breaks from the grind.
Personally I would prefer longer breaks between the end of one rift and the start of the next.

New rifts always launch a day after the mid-chapter. The update will probably release on the 30th, so we'll likely see the next rift on the 31st.

Isn't the break from the grind just whenever you complete the rift? I don't see how extending the availability of the rift would change how long you spend grinding.

Unless you spend several hours a week for the entire duration of the rift, you won't be finishing it with much time to spare.
It's a psychological thing. I'd rather have a time period where there is no rift going on so I don't have to concern myself with the 'guilt' over not actively working toward it.
What FOMO does to a mf I guess lol
It takes too long, is what I'm saying. Almost makes me wish for the return of lootboxes.

I think they will always will be. It's the rift colour pallete.
I personally don't like it though. Mainly the fact they are rift exclusive. But then the fact that most of don't look good in my opinion. The colour pallete just won't make sense on a lot of skins.
From the rift just gone though the adam outfit has a really cool detail on the deep rift variant. The cat picture on his jacket has a different background. Deep rift variant has a celestial background and the normal one is a rainbow
