3 bug fixes and Twins remain Broken. This must be on purpose.
Most people know that the Twins have been completely glitched for like 3 weeks now. Victor can't jump pallets and he bonks off of things behind and off screen left and right as well as phasing through survivors at point blank range.
This happened when Huntress got her aim bugged out. I assumed this was a spaghetti code glitch and would be fixed soon. There have been 3 seperate glitch fix updates since that time, and nothing has been done for Twins. The Twins rework has been delayed 6-12 months.
I'm getting the idea that as crazy as it is, this isn't a glitch. That it was a stealth nerf. BHVR obviously hates the Twins as they are, so they decided to effectively neuter them until they can dedicate the time to nerfing them properly.
I know it's just a video game, but it sucks. I have 1,100 hours on Twins. They're the reason I started playing DBD. If this was on purpose, I think BHVR should have said something in a patch note at least. If this isn't on purpose, easiest fix ever! Just reset the Twins to how they were December 1st of this year.
Much love, a frustrated Twins main.

I haven't noticed as I rarely use them.
But would you mind telling us what build you have as well as add-ons?
And thanks for the information on the bug.

I've noticed that sometimes when I swap to Victor, he can no longer move other than using his power, then once you jump he is killed as if placed on top of an object.
Can't wait to see that rework tho a part of me is scared 😐

Yea try playing them. It's really noticable. You can only jump pallets from really far away. You used to be able to jump them from just close by just by aiming up. You now have to be a significant distance away. And at that distance, you'll often end up jumping straight over survivors without damaging and then get kicked in the face. That on top of the insane bonks. Literally stand next to or even just near any object as Victor, turn your around and try pouncing. It happens 100% of the time.
And for build, my go to is Lethal pursuer, pain res, deerstalker and BBQ. The idea is that since Victor can't kick gens, you need to slow the game down by injuring, downing and hooking survivors. That's why you want Lethal to get pressure immediately. Scourge is good because it's passive and strong. BBQ is good because without it, you will often find yourself after your first hook running around like a chicken with his head cut off. You can't afford to do that as Twins. You need pressure always. And Deerstalker is a must because you have to slug at least a little. A rule of thumb for slugging is only do it if you know exactly where you're going and can get a hit/down quickly. Don't run around for 60 seconds all across the map not finding anyone. It's a waste of time, and it pisses off the survivors. Don't go for the 4 man slug unless you're getting super gen rushed and/or the survivors are being jerks.
Big caveat though, I think Ultimate Weapon could easily replace both Lethal Pursuer and BBQ. I just don't have that, and it's literally never been on the shrine of secrets. I just don't want to spend more money on this game.
As far as add ons, I do have some tips there as well. Objectively, the strongest add on combination is Silencing Cloth and Spinning Top. Being undetectable as Charlotte for 20 seconds whenever you switch from Victor is insane and leads to tons of free hits on even very good survivors. The spinning top just makes survivors drop items and med kits definitely counter the twins. That's my sweaty combo.
Lots of people like Toy sword, and yes it's nice but really not necessary once you're good.
Overall, I really like Pinky nail and Foresty Stew or Madeleine's Scarf. It's a comfort pick for me not necessarily the best ones, but I just really like to be able to deploy Victor faster (not using pink nail makes sending out victor take longer than actual child birth,) and I love how he feels running with stew. You're so fast with it, you can sometimes run under pallets before survivors can even drop them.
But also none of this means anything until they fix the Twins. Right now, every pallet is a literal infinite, because survivors can vault pallets an unlimited number of times against Victor since he doesn't start a chase, and he can't vault or bloodlust. If a survivor knows that Victor is broken, they are completey safe at every pallet.
K rant over. I hope that answers your question.

Yea things like that happen sometimes and suck. I also find victor gets stuck in objects sometimes and can't move at all or even be kicked. I think glitches like that are rare enough though that I don't complain much. It's the ones like this that affect every game that make me crazy. I don't have much hope though. A few months ago, the Twins would softlock literally every game, and they didn't fix that for like 2-3 months. It was tragic.
None of this gives me hope for the rework. I don't think there are any Twins lovers working at BHVR. Their stated goal is to reduce slugging, not increase kill rate or make Twins mains happy. And I get it; there aren't many Twins players and they need to make the most people happy, but they did take my money and owe me a working product. Fix the Twins!

You can't be a Twins main. I refuse to believe, I live in a world where anyone would truly main Twins.

Before this glitch, they were a top tier killer. Also before their big nerf a couple years ago, everyone agreed they were high A tier at least. And that nerf didn't really make them weaker; it just made them less comfortable to play. And they're just generally fun to play. Switching back and fourth, getting gen grabs with stealthy charlotte, pouncing on survivors far away, grabbing people who Tea bag you at the exit gate, chasing survivors into Victor like a trap and just generally controlling the map being 2 places at once feels great. Plus they're the king and queen of comebacks. Even if you have 0 hooks and only 1 gen left, you can still pull out a 4k if you can get 3 people injured at once. I can't count the number of times I've gone from zero kills to 4k AFTER the gens are done. I'm not trying to flex because it's just a game and no one cares. I'm just trying to say Twins are fun and massively underrated (except for right now when they're a dumpster fire).

maybe they don't know how to fix them?

If I had to take a guess, they might just not be prioritizing fixing a power that is getting reworked in the near future anyway. The work they put into the fix would go to waste. That being said, I really hope the rework means they pretty much completely scrap the old code and restart from scratch because I swear to god every other update there is a new twins glitch.
