SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT ABLE TO PLAY KILLER DUE TO ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES OR JUST A SIMPLE DESIRE NOT TO PLAY AS THE KILLER. THESE PLAYERS ARE VALID, AND SURVIVOR COSMETICS SHOULD NOT BE LOCKED BEHIND A WALL FORCING THEM TO PLAY A ROLE THEY ARE UNCOMFORTABLE PLAYING. THAT SHOULD BE THE END OF THE STORY, AND IT IS FOR ME.

Look at the left of your keyboard, there should be a caps lock key. Cosmetics are not required to play the game, and it's perfectly acceptable for the developers to reward people for playing both roles in their game. Ultimately, the challenges are completely optional, as are the purely cosmetic and non-game altering rewards. I might be inclined to agree with you if the rewards DID provide an actual effect...but they don't.
