Rate my build?
Hi everyone,
I have been playing Hillbilly exclusively. While he isn't as strong as Wraith in my opinion, he is still super fun to play. To me his power makes me think of a race car a little bit. I still am not good at using his power while in a chase but I am learning some things. For instance, I am learning that when I want a Survivor to turn I just have to rev the chainsaw.
Anyways, he feels kind of weak in chase so I started running these perks. How is this combination when it comes to chase? I think it’s good but maybe there are better combinations?

- Brutal Strength
- Lightborn
- Bamboozle

No gen slowdown perks at all? That is somewhat concerning.
And I think you don't need to equip Lightborn if there are no or less survivors holding Flashlights.

No, no gen slowdown perks for this build. It’s okay though because the mmr usually takes care of that for me.
What do you recommend instead of lightborn? I want an M1 build that makes chases go faster.

If your objective is to learn, I'd suggest running pure slowdown (Corrupt Intervention, Deadlock, Pain Resonance, etc..) and a single information perk (BBQ, Discordance, Tinkerer, etc..) that way you spend less time looking for survivors and more time actually chasing them.
Bamboozle and Enduring are a fantastic chase perks, I'll admit, but they may interfere with your actual ability to get better.

I don’t really have trouble finding Survivors… I’m really just trying to find a good chase oriented build.

Faster chase? Then maybe Spirit Fury can be not a bad choice, especially considering you are running Enduring.
