I'll have a killer on video humping me under a hook til I bleed out and will get the usual 'slugging is not a bannable offense' ok but I think this beyond slugging, it's just flat out griefing and keeping me hostage

I mean I can answer the "fair and allowed" part. In no way is it anyone elses fault other than your team that you all went down 5 minutes into the game (hell some one was already stage 2) when you still had the majority of resources at your disposal.
As for the actual slugging part, it is 100% frustrating and never feels good to be on the receiving end. I have the unpopular opinion that the Finisher Mori system wasnt nearly as bad as people made it out to be, and it should make a comeback with a few minor tweaks.

Survivor / Killer gets outplayed, moans and blames the game.

A piece of advice. Look up for what you can report players and for what you cant report players.

Slugging is nasty but in the video you are all hooked. If Bubba felt he could take a risk by downing all of you then it can be perceived as an efficient tactic.
Real slugging is when you are all left on the ground and the killer just watches or humps or does something else they find "funny". It is, unfortunately, not a bannable offence. I had my fair share of reports / tickets / video evidence submitted for this purpose.

Yet, in the same video game survivors can be slugged and prevented from playing the game. Also, as OP pointed out, he could have been more like the norm and let everyone bleed out for minutes. Why no forfeit option at least? Killer enjoyment is always taking priority.
Double standards is why this game is dying unfortunately. Too much favoritism for one side.

At least youre lucky enough that he started hooking you. There are a bunch of killers refusing to hook you so you would really bleed out after dumb 4 minutes.

It is by definition not hostage-taking. Hostage taking explicitly requires the game to go on indefinitely for super long periods of time. Bleeding out takes four minutes. There is no scenario where bleeding out by itself is a valid reason for being reported.

i love how i pointed out that OP's ultimate point is that he thinks the killer shouldn't be allowed to 4 slug people, and you responded by

an actual coherent response would involve explaining why killers should be allowed to 4 bleed out, why allowing such a playstyle is healthy for the game; not simply repeating the same point that doesn't actually relate to what OP's saying
