So is Sadako weak killer again?

Didn't play PTB so tell me your thoughts on her so far. I heared some content creators said she is much weaker and drops like multi tiers below than before which is sad but I quess That is what people wanted, old (weak) sadako.

I'm seeing people do work with her just fine. She's different than current Sadako, but not necessarily worse. Probably gonna be abit before people really nail it down though.

    I played her extensively.

Shes pretty strong if played right.

What people, including me, wanted was a buffed version of old Sadako. This is basicly it. She now provides skillful interaction between survivor and killer again and gets heavily rewarded for hooking survivors.

For more deetailed information about all the changes, pls look up my post here:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/401794/the-onryo-feedback/p1

I went into detail about all the changes in detail and why they are good or bad. If you have the time, i would really appreciate your input. I think i covered amost all the aspects and tried to be as objective as possible.

Please dont trust the gospel of most content creators, that didnt know how to play her correctly in the first place. If you want to see the reaction of someone that DOES know how to play Sadako on youtube, look up this video:

See ya in the feedback section!

@Green_Sliche Every killer prioritizes tunneling an survivor out ASAP and Sadako at every iteration was doing that.

@Chocolate_Cosmos Sadako plays better IMO but it depends on which version of her you liked more. Some preferred the original, some liked the changed version. This one feels like a good middle ground.

She is 100% weaker if you’re still playing her like her reworked version or as a Blight. She’s a hit-and-run killer, not a chase killer. You have to be smart with her teleports to spread condemn and pressure multiple survivors.

I like her! She has her old teleportation speed back, which was something I missed. The fact all active TVs can stack Curse when teleporting is nice and although taking a video tape no longer causes more stacks when hit, you need to remove it quickly to keep the stacks low, before becoming hooked.

She's back to her more unpredictable self and that makes me happy.

I agree. It is silly that killer is based around mindlessly spamming TV's. i wish there was.... a little bit... i don't know... skill involved? more depth. The original version of sadako required skill because her TV cooldown were long but iri add-on requires her to hit people to reset TV's. it is just shame that add-on promoted gen-camping as optimal play over hit & run and chased focused gameplay.

Against soloq or people who are bad at dbd, she is still a noob stomper. Against good loopers and people who understand tapes have no risk anymore, she is the same as old sadako, basically a joke.

However the % of dbd players that are actually decent doesnt go over the 10% of players so you should be fine if you play her.

she feel a slightly weaker to me but way better than her orginal form. You can't just mindlessly teleport your way to win like the last iteration which is good.

Slightly, but she has some great new changes that turn her from being oppressive all match to being a really potent mid-to-late game monster if played right and if you get condemned stacks stuck on survivors post-hooking them.

Went a few matches with getting 2-3 mori's because some survivors assumed she was as weak as on release Sadako.
