Would these changes to my playstyles be bannable?
As Survivor: My build focuses on healing and rescuing fellow survivors from hooks. I’m a sneaky survivor, good at out-maneuvering the killer, and an excellent rescuer. Sometimes, there is only me and one other survivor left, and they get hooked. I am often able to rescue them. Sometimes we both live. If it looks like only one of us will live, I will sacrifice myself for the other survivor to live. When the killer gets little to no hooks or gets no kills at all, I will often let them hook or even kill me out of pity and to be a good sport.
Moving forward: My build will focus on self-preservation. I will no longer unhook nor heal anyone but myself. I will not run from killers. I will continue working on generators when they attack me. If they down and hook me, so be it. I’ll try my best to unhook myself and get right back on that generator as quickly as possible. My goal has shifted from saving other survivors and myself to working on gens and getting through the exit as fast as possible.
As Killer: I count hooks. No survivor will die until every survivor has two hooks already. Once every survivor has two hooks, I kill two survivors. The remaining two are spared. If they understand they have the option to live, I’ll even lead them to toolboxes and generators.
Moving forward: I will tunnel, slug, and camp at every opportunity. Every hatch will be slammed shut.
I don’t think I will be providing as much enjoyment to other players in the game as I was before. There will be many games with no survivors except me. Instead of playing as an altruist, I will be mercilessly selfish. I will probably provide context regarding my decision to make these changes, but not until after I get a clear answer.
I know that many people disagree with these play-styles, but they don’t break any rules, as far as I know. Would these new playstyles violate bannable rules and get me banned? Do my reasons or motivations for making these changes affect my eligibility to be banned?
And a related question: Some of my current actions could be seen as "working with the other side." Allowing killer to kill me. Allowing survivors to escape, etc. Are these bannable actions?
Assuming I will only get answers from other players, is there somewhere on this site I can get clear answers from an official BHVR representative? I read the rules, but some of them are vague and very open to interpretation. I need to know specific boundaries, so I may stay within them.
I did not come here to learn your opinions. I did not come here to argue. I will provide context, but one thing at a time.

I recall the devs stating long ago pretty much that if something is in the game and you can do it, which is not a bug or an outside cheat, you can absolutely do it. A certain playstyle is therefore should not be bannable. But hey, you are free to wait for an official answer from mod or dev.

You can play how you want to play

That survivor play style is just straight up throwing. Don’t know if you could get in trouble for that.

It’s not bannable per se.
But you will have to live with a lot of flak and rarely seeing a game be completed in full.
Also, as a general comment, consider pragmatic empathy.

I feel quite bad for you and am wondering what happened to make you shift this hard from good survivor to bad survivor and same for killer.
From the survivor's side, teamwork goes only so far. You need to survive, if that means throwing teammates under the bus so be it. I only think it's sad that this is a plan A instead of plan C
Being bad killer I can get somewhat better since it's about the side's objectives but even there there could be some honor in it ... Also plan A and B,C,...

Thanks for your answers. It sounds like none of this is bannable. Once I get a clear answer from someone from BHVR, I will ask a follow-up question of BHVR. After that, I will elaborate with context. Once again, thanks everyone!

quick answer: take a break
long answer: your new survivor gameplay plan which basically is going next as far as i know is not bannable. for your other points none of them are bannable whatsoever, play however you want but if i hold a grudge and play the game for it dbd never gives genuine enjoyment to me, hope it works for you though. but please, nice intentions or not, don't save in a 2v1 (especially don't hide afterwards) since it's annoying for killers also; hanging survivor is guaranteed to not appreciate it. most killers after that point just slug for 4k. just let the person die and play for hatch or give the killer their last chase of the match.

I don’t think I will be providing as much enjoyment to other players in the game as I was before.
I doubt you'll be having very much fun either, but that's your call.
The only thing that I think might be questionable is the following:
I will continue working on generators when they attack me. If they down and hook me, so be it. I’ll try my best to unhook myself and get right back on that generator as quickly as possible.
That sounds like throwing. You're allowed to play selfishly, but it doesn't seem like you are even playing at that point.
Not that I think you'd get banned, because playstyles almost never result in bans, but that's the only thing that I think is even in the vicinity of a rules violation.
Moving forward: I will tunnel, slug, and camp at every opportunity. Every hatch will be slammed shut.
Enjoy high MMR.
Once I get a clear answer from someone from BHVR, I will ask a follow-up question of BHVR
That's probably not going to happen, especially not a clear answer. BHVR have posted rules of the game to go off of. Situations are usually handled on a case by case basis.

If you play like that as survivor you're severely reducing your chance to escape.
You can play selfishly toward the end of the game but you need your teammates to stay alive as long as possible so gens get done. If you refuse to unhook people, suicide on hook and you let yourself get downed in 2 seconds in chase then gens aren't getting done and you aren't gonna escape through the gates.
It's... probably not bannable, since you can argue that you're trying to win, albeit in a weird, inefficient way, but it could also be argued you're intentionally throwing and thus it -could- be bannable.
Regardless, you -know- full well that you're screwing over your teammates and that you're gonna lose most of your matches so you're certainly not being a good player.

BHVR let's people get away with farming against my will destroying games and they never get banned so I guess you will be fine.

Playing like a "not exactly nice" killer or being the most useless teammate in DBD history might be aweful for everyone else, but you definitly cant be banned for that.
May i ask why you changed from a decent player to what you are now?

Please no, don't do it, while it is doubtful we will ever be in the same game, I'd rather take a bot. Bots at least know to run away from killers and to not to take their chance on the hook. 😥

If BHVR won't anwer me, no one will every learn the answer.

i gave your answer in the first sentence. this is a public forum and anyone can comment whatever they wish and if you come here with a wall of text people can address any of that meaningless bullcrap. learn to behave properly and showing adequate respect to others. :)

If you don't want people's opinions and stances on something, don't post on a public forum

But how will we ever manage to go on with our lives without knowing this all important answer?
There are plenty of killers who play killer exactly the way you describe. You won't even be unique.
There's plenty of survivors play really poorly / give up on the game. You won't be that different.

It's not bannable at all. But the way SBMM is supposed to work is that the more you lose, the lower you stay in MMR. Likewise the more you win, the higher you go in MMR. Losing alot like that as survivor may, in time, net you even worse team mates whose inexperience will ruin your survivor experience even more. And playing like that as killer will likely net you more kills but bring you up to an MMR level where those tactics aren't as efficient against the better survivors you'll suddenly be facing. I think in the long run, you will ruin your gaming experience. Just my 2 cents though. Ultimately I'm in the play as you like, just don't cry about the consequences camp.

You posted in the general discussion section. There is a questions section, but it is specifically ask the community. If the mods had a sense of humor they would have moved this post over there.
It's kind of funny you are taking the time to respond to everyone then.
You have your answer. On killer everything your proposed is explicitly allowed and frequently done. On survivor the rules are vague. If BHVR wanted the rules to be less vague they'd make them less vague, but issues of griefing are handled on a case by case basis.
