I don't... not opening the door until I have to is muscle memory

Full end game with warden will probably result in a 4k lol.

I dont think so. in my experience, there are not enough hooks around the gate to hook everyone if they just run to the gate.

you run blood warden for 20 games in a row and it might do something eventually

Bad perk. Even when you pull it off survivors will just leave the exit area and hide. That's if you pull it off, which won't happen against players that know it exists and distortion will tell you if killer has blood warden as well.

It might get you a kill if you hook near the exit gates to quickly punish and you can make it so egc kills everyone but you have to to kill someone halfway of the timer and they can leave way before than.

It's a fun perk but it's weak and hardly practical. I would like to see it improved somehow.

I love it. It’s completely terrified Survivors into 99ing exit gates as the norm.

It can have a massive impact but since most people don't open the gate until everyone is safe, it rarely gets value.

It’s funny when it works, but it doesn’t actually work very often. I’ll run it occasionally for fun, but if you are playing to win it is not worth the perk slot.

It won’t get you any value against a good team most of the time. The better survivors will usually try and keep track of the perks you’re using and will be keeping note if you seemingly have a fourth perk you’ve yet to use all game. A good team will be even more suspicious that you have the perk if you’re running other endgame perks along with it. It’s something that only really works if the survivors make some massive mistakes and that’s not exactly ideal for a killer perk.

Good (Non meta) perk but it's made difficult to use by a somewhat common perk Distortion since it procs at the gates and is a dead giveaway if this perk is present.

Regardless always fun to use but again a lot of better options if you want to win without risk.

I don't really think about bloodwarden. But if I do, it would be fondly.

It is not a very strong perk, but the threat that the killer might have it makes it powerful.

    I like that it exists.

I don't run it too often as Killer, but I do like it. As Krazzik mentioned, oftentimes a Survivor will wait until after another Survivor is hooked to open the door, or wait until any teammates still in the match are safe. BUT..... often isn't always, and I've actually gotten value with it quite often in Killer matches that make it to all the gens completed!

As Survivor, I don't mind it really, as I am usually the aforementioned Survivor that takes those precautions... except when I don't or forget 😅 and like rain on your wedding day, I find myself face to face with the Blood Warden block and I just facepalm myself from the irony and laugh because that was on me lol

That happened to me as survivor during the Moonrise event.

I was playing against Freddy and I admit I was getting a bit cocky. He is my main, I know how Freddys play, surely I would be able to read him like a book.

    Well... until Blood Warden happened.

Wonderful for embarrassing and catching cocky Survivors lingering at exit gates, who refuse to leave, completely off guard😄

I see it on the rarest of Killers and act accordingly. I have gone against two Singularitys that use it for example. Now, I'm always on alert for it when facing a Singularity.

You can rarely get use out of it but it’s so delicious when you do. Even as survivor, I enjoy it when the killer out plays us and gets it to trigger.

I do wish they’d buff it to where if survivors stand in the exist gates for more than 20 seconds it will proc even if the killer doesn’t hook someone. But I understand that might be too powerful.

It's useless against any remotely competent survivor team. When I play survivor I will wait until the killer hooks before I open the gate. If the gate is already open then good survivors will just run out before you can get the hook. I can't even remember the last time a killer successfully used blood warden against me or my teammates. You'd be so much better off running something like NWO which makes the end game much harder for survivors. Blood Warden usually gets zero value and is a waste of a perk slot. You have to remember that most experienced players have been burned by blood warden before. It's a lesson that you only have to learn once. If the survivors are not experienced then you should easily win before you ever reach the end game anyway.

Blood warden will be good if gates regressed, forcing Survivors to open the gates before going back for the save

I've seen it in the shrine a couple times, but I don't buy it because it seems like No Way Out does the same basic thing (seal the survivors in with you when they should be in the clear) but more consistently.

As survivor, I have died to it once or twice, but it's always more like "GAH! Ok, moving on," because it is so rare.

It's strong but not under your control. Most of the time you have to open the gates yourself to get value out of it....which is a problem. Opening the gates is a big tail that you got it. The survivors can see the gates being done on the hud so they know if the killer opening it themselves. I pretty much only use it on Freddy with the black box.

It's bad. Even in peak meme scenarios with all 4 survivors up and we pretend we instant down all of them, at least one, perhaps more will crawl out when you factor in pick up time, walk time to the closest hook, walk back to the door, pick up time, walk time to the second closest hook, walk back to the door, etc. it's just 60 seconds after all.

In the above scenario we somehow magically downed every survivor too. If you factor in attack hit and wipe too that 60 seconds gets consumed without survivors on hooks even faster.
