When will springtrap be finally in the game??
Hi there people of the fog! I wanted to ask what you think of springtrap and a FNAF3 map in DBD.Personally, I would celebrate it! He would be the perfect killer with the perfect lore!
His weapon should be a fire axe!

No it's not, it started as a lighthearted sci fi action that caters to all ages including children's. You want DBD just to be another COD by adding something that is not fit or has nothing to do with their tone and theme of this game? Except collaborations. There's a lot of horror stuff they can use something instead of Power Rangers like Phantasm, Pumpkinhead, Dead Space, The Evil Within, and the list goes on.

I want a full blown chapter with Kimberly and Tommy as the base Survivors and all the other ones as Legendary Sets.
Rita Repulsa would be the killer and Lord Zedd will be her legendary cosmetic. The mori would be them making themselves grow and stomping on the survivor.

No, I just think a dark twist on Power Rangers would be more beneficial to this game than FNAF. Also, this game has plenty of non-horror elements to it already.

Considering that dbd's chapters are only for horror IPs & original horror stuff, if there ever was to be anything power rangers related, i expect it to be either a single legendary skin similar to the R6 Siege skin for Renato or some cosplay cosmetics similar to the SH & RE Feng cosmetics.
Also unless the license holder doesn't care about the IP's portrayal, i don't think they would allow for it in the first place as DBD is very contrasting both in action and overall tone compared to Power Rangers. Sure we can put a spin on it to be more horror adjacent, but just remember that majority of people who is interested in the franchise will be expecting from it what the franchise is most known for rather than what it is not.
That's not to say you aren't allowed to want it in dbd, i'm just saying it's very unlikely to happen.

But Power Rangers was never ever been a horror at all as it started as lighthearted campy sci fi action genre that caters to all ages including children's and FNAF was already a horror from the start. Would you rather have Mission: Impossible, John Wick, James Bond, The Bourne, or Fast & Furious in DBD? There's a lot of horror ips they can take like The Grudge, Phantasm, Terrifier, Dead Space, The Evil Within, Another Stranger Things chapter, IT, and more.

Doesn’t matter what it started as, it could still be made to fit the game. I want it over everything you mentioned and it could happen if the devs were willing. Heck, it might bring in more players who have fond memories of the show and cosmetics would probably sell like hotcakes if done right.
It’s okay if you don’t like the idea of a Power Rangers chapter, we don’t have to see eye to eye on it.

Well you just view that DBD isn't a scary game anymore which is the same thing other horror franchises weren't scary in later installments and your being ridiculous suggesting things that don't fit in DBD and that's not happening at all.

I wouldn't want any FNAF character as Killer in DBD, but not because I believe it would be bad, quite the contrary.
BHVR has proven that, as far as licensed content go, they are good at making licensed Killers accurate to the source material (as much as possible given DBD's limits and requirements) and making them interesting and unique. Even the weakest licensed Killer (Pig) brought something unique to them and lore-accurate.
The problem is that, for Springtrap/Freddy/any Animatronic to be in the game, their power would have to revolve around frequent and loud jumpscares (since FNAF's "horror" label, let's be honest, comes from the fact that it's 90% jumpscares) and it would be beyond aggravating to deal with. Imagine having your eardrums blasted and screen flashing every few seconds.
Not only would it be an accessibility nightmare but it would also be annoying beyond any other Killer (barring Skull Merchant, she's in her own league) so far. BHVR removed some of the visual flashing from the Doctor's power for a reason.
