Does this actually happen?
I get wild variety. I know I'm one person, but still. I barely see SM & the characters I'm kinda sick of facing due solely to prevalence are Nemesis and Chucky. Even so, they aren't every other game so it's not that bad.

Wraith and Nurse I see often, but I don't mind them. Thankfully I don't see much Skull Merchant.

That's rough. Having Slog Merchant among the killers you face most sounds like such a... Well, slog.
I thank the heavens I don't face her that often. Nurse is also not that common for me. Huntress and Wesker seem to be more popular where I live, which is honestly not too bad. Both are pretty fun to play against for the first 10 times in a row. After that I would appreciate some variety.

I'm in Japan too, and I can agree, I'm sick to death of those three. I've genuinely started bringing Distortion regularly because of how prevalent Lethal + BBQ Nurse is.
Throw in tombstone Myers too as fourth most popular.

Wesker is arguably the most played killer since his release, and I can believe that because of seeing him in a lot of games including other players who stream. Out of my 6k+ hours playing DBD I feel I've never faced a killer as much as I have Wesker.

Hm, I mostly get Ghostface, Sadako, Wesker, Nemesis, Pig, Chucky. Sometimes Trapper/Naughty Bear, Huntress, Xenomorph, Deathslinger, Bubba. So far I only encountered Skull Merchant twice! Was fresh, but my tam get slaughtered fast. Hux, Skull Merchant, Myers is a rarity. Recently I encounter more Plague, Blight and the Doctor.

It's funny to me that every time I see a post like this anywhere, it's almost always different killers being complained about.
I'm starting to wonder if it's an MMR thing; More killers of those types in your MMR bracket.

I get quite a mixed bag. Pretty much anyone except Skull Merchant, Twins and Singularity. Those 3 might aswell not even exist.
As for the Op, you can add Knight to that list in a week or so 😏

That's really interesting. I'm sure that has something to do with it. Some characters are going to be universally used because gamers feel entitled to win and have a lust for it. However, I would like to see a breakdown of characters used in different regions.
