balance doesn't make a game fun
please bring back all the broken stuff.
nurse addons, 4 box pig, old hatch mechanics, ruin, dead hard, pop, locker saves, no basekit BT, idk the list goes on probably

Balance and fun are not intrinsically linked. A game can be both balanced and fun; it can also be unbalanced and boring. One does not hinge on the other.
Broken things can be a lot of fun, but almost always only for the player using what is broken, and ONLY for people who are so inclined.
For people like myself, getting smashed by broken mechanics and being forced to take the opposing broken mechanics isn't fun either. It's especially not fun for me to take broken things and smash a player who is not using broken things. Any sense of achievement or accomplishment is none existent, because you're being carried by your broken ability rather than it being any growth or skill on your part.
An extreme example of this logic not working is, I have an FPS game that has a very rare chance of loot dropping a 1 time use nuclear warhead. That player can trigger it any time they like and instantly perma-kill everyone, resulting in a win for their team. Broken as hell, completely unbalanced, not fun for anyone on the opposing team (nor likely anyone on the same team), except maybe the user, who gets to laugh at the entire enemy team after they got a 5 round lead, only for the game to be ended immediately and their work robbed off them.
I don't know about you, but I'd rather not take Commodius Toolboxes with max charge add-ons, or Dead Hard and Decisive Strike, or flashlights with instablind add-ons just to have a chance of escape, or have to take Cob/Pop/Eruption or learn 6 blink Nurse just to have a game where survivors aren't out in less than 4 minutes every single time.
If a broken thing is fun, consider what makes it fun and introduce it into the game in an appropriately balanced fashion, but having broken stuff in a game just makes the game extremely annoying for whoever is on the receiving end.

we don´t need broken stuff to have fun, we need NEW stuff, reworks, new killers, new perks that´s what make the game fun, look at the new hillbilly, he´s balanced and at the same time one of the most fun things ever made in dbd (at least imo)

You bring back the broken stuff at this point and people will leave in a couple games.
People by nature like fairness. In the past it was swf vs the top few killers and that's it, if you were so unlucky to face the other side without being able to reciprocate you lost instantly. Due to how bad mmr is that problem exists to an extent but back then you could lose on game startup often.
Personally I think they should address killer balance first on good killers and then souly buff m1 stats and then change survivor as needed.

Balance is preferable to Unbalanced Fun. I prefer Balanced Fun.

Nah bro, if theres no fairness then nobody goingto play this game. op things could not exists cuz yeah maybe you have fun with your old dh, but there is a killer whos fustrated by it . The sweet middle ground is the spot where both side can tolerate these things
