Killer Builds... Let's Trade Builds.

Send me your Killer builds, Ill play a match with it (will send image proof) and Ill send a build for you to use for a match (must send proof back). It's like a little trade, we just trade the build(s) back and forth.

Obviously (since it will take awhile), my responses might be delayed. If either person is missing a particular character, perk, addon, and/or offering, they can just fill in the blanks with whatever they want.

Just a lil funky idea I came up with, I think it will be fun.

NOTICE: Taking another break from this! I really appreciate how people are trying to follow through on their end! It cannot be understated how fun this has been and Im really thankful that people are going along with it!

Is it just perks or do we get to choose each other's characters? Because I don't have every killer in the game.

You can just use what you got and fill in the blanks with whatever you are missing, consider it a "free space" on a BINGO board.

Im in a similar boat since Im missing Chucky and his corresponding perks.

Do we have to choose a killer for the build?

  • Iron_Cutlass
    Iron_Cutlass Member Posts: 3,267

Yes. You must pick a full loadout for me to use, likewise Ill also pick a full loadout for you to use.

Alright then, I'll give you the build I'm currently using, see if it works for ya:

Freddy with Corrupt Intervention, Pain Res, STBFL and Brutal Strength. Add-ons are up to you, but it must contain Dream Pallets.

    Good luck!

    Alright 🙂

The Shape with J.Myers Memorial and Hair Bow

Monitor and Abuse, Bamboozle, Pop Goes The Weasel, Corrupt Intervention

I got Nostromo Wreckage and there was literally no room for Dream Pallets at the start. Kate also DCed bc I grabbed her off a Generator while she was lagging really badly.

Your build is now: Trapper (Setting Tools and Trapper Gloves) ~ Machine Learning, Trail of Torment, Monitor and Abuse, H: NOED.

Also... I wish I was joking but that is actually my main Trapper build, youd be surprised how effective it can be sometimes.

I got Gideon's, managed to get 8 hooks.

Bamboozle was beyond useless and Survivors played it incredibly safe by predropping all the pallets instantly, but I reckon they maybe thought I had tombstone since getting Tier 3 for the first time took awhile since I never really had a good time to use it.

Your build is: Ghostface ("Ghostface Caught On Tape" and Chewed Pen) ~ Deerstalker, Forced Hesitation, Discordance, Coup De Grace.

    Damn i wasn't expecting gideon's :( 8 hooks is great though

I did not do very well 😔got 4 hooks and i wasn't really sure what i was doing tbh lol.

    This was fun though 👍

Well played, my friend! Nostromo is indeed a difficult map for Pallet Freddy, especially during the early game.

    My turn:

Now, this was a rather interesting match.

Map was Ironworks of Misery, and that Steve was AFK at the beginning... right by the basement. Things snowballed from there, which included Rebecca killing herself on her first hook. They only got two generators.

Getting an early basement hook with Trapper can be devastating.

Plague (Prayer Tablet Fragment and Hematite Seal) - Play With Your Food, Hysteria, Hex: Face the Darkness, and Corrupt Intervention

  • Iron_Cutlass
    Iron_Cutlass Member Posts: 3,267

I got 9 Hooks but Prayer Tablet costed me so many potential downs. ):

Your build is: Wraith ("All Seeing" - Blood and "Windstorm" - Blood) ~ Coup De Grace, THWACK!, Dissolution, and Sloppy Butcher.

Dang! It's definitely a different win condition with that build!

It's my favorite Plague build because I feel like her power is clunky and unpleasant to use mid-chase. I think it also hits that gen-defense playstyle that Skull Merchant was originally designed around, without feeling incredibly unfair to Survivors. I don't mind playing a purely M1 killer, and that is more or less how I play Plague in quasi-stealth that build.

I'm not sure what the deal with Thwack! was--probably my first time using the perk--but it did not activate once. I kicked a ton of gens, often with a Survivor recently hopping off of it.

I also didn't get an value out of dissolution, but I did not need to as Ada threw every pallet on Shelter Woods in the first chase.

10 hooks total, Yui ended it on second hook so Claud could find hatch. Fun match, down for another rec

I cant currently play the game so you don’t have to give me a build, but here’s mine for you:

    Scratched Mirror Myers.

    Undying

    Haunted Grounds

    PWYF

    Franklins’ Demise.

Of course, you should have an indoor map offering.

This build is best when the group has lots of nice flashlights and items.

Play hit and run but don’t go too far. Instead, hide behind a wall nearest to their dropped item. Scare the pee out of them when they come to retrieve it.

Chill build for any killer (I like it especially on Doc because it synergises well with his power): BBQ, Lethal Pursuer, Lightborn. 4th perk slot used to be Shadowborn but now I might switch it to Huntress' Lullaby.

It's a build designed for you to sit back, relax and just chase. I use it whenever I just want to turn off my brain and chill.

Hillbilly with Apex Muffler, Spiked Boots, Plaything, Pentimento, Trail of Torment and BBQ. Send yourself to Coldwind for good measure.

It's so satisfying when it works. With the upcoming buff it will be even better. Just run around with the chainsaw and hit them like a truck when they don't watch out.

Bodyguard Bubba: PWYF, Dark Devotion, Lethal Pursuer, Insidious. No addons required (although tantrum addons can be nice, if you're less experienced).

After years spent chasing, slashing and killing survivors Bubba remembers his old life. He used to be a good boy and now wants to redeem himself. When the match starts, Lethal Pursuer activates to help him find the client (obsession). Once he found them, he will start following them around. Bubba does not hit the client under any circumstances.

Instead he fully devotes himself to the client's protection. Survivors entering his security perimeter (completely random area around the obsession) must first be scared off by revving the chainsaw. Should they not leave the area to let the client work in peace, then violence will deemed necessary and Bubba chainsaws and hooks that survivor. He will do everything in his power to ensure the client will not be disturbed.

Oh and of course the "You're definitely going to hell" build: Myers with Tombstone, PWYF, Lethal Pursuer and Insidious.

Use Lethal Purser to find the obession and get your PWYF stacks. Stalk until you have 99% tier 3 then hook the obession (preferrably in basement or on a hill) and hide nearby just out of range of the AFC. When a survivor comes for the rescue, activate tier 3 and kill both of them. Works especially well on Midwich (because you can camp above the basement).

    Ahahaha, the judgement xD

Since there have been a few Pig builds, I will instead put up my "Always There" Dredge build:

    • Make Your Choice
    • Friends 'Til The End
    • Lethal Pursuer
    • Hex: Plaything
    • Boat Key
    • Lavalier Microphone

The idea is to use the threat of Hex: Pentimento to keep everyone Oblivious with Plaything, and use the 2 purple add-ons to have the Dredge function similar during the Day as he does at Night, with faster TPs from Boat Key, and the 5s auras from Lavalier Microphone + Lethal Pursuer to replace Killer Instinct. As a bonus it also opens lockers to spook survivor whenever you port around.

Friends 'Til The End and Make Your Choice give you a lot of potency to chase people down with exposed, and your TPs ensure you can get to them and see their aura/killer instinct. Have fun 😁🤘

Better than scream Pig.. which is literally the only build Pig players run

  • radiantHero23
    radiantHero23 Member Posts: 4,280

I main pig for over 2000h at this point. My build for almost 3/4 of this time is the one I stated above.

Screaming pig is by far not the most optimal build on her.

Disclaimer: we're each sending a build your way, our response times will probably vary.

    • Look-see (Doctor): Hex: face the darkness, ultimate weapon, dark devotion, surge. Any add ons but for fun purposes iridescent queen.
    • Fish-hag (hag): SH Pain res, SH gift of pain, franklins, sloppy butcher. Any add ons.
    • my game pig (guess): terminus, SH Gift of pain, hex: noed, hex: haunted grounds. Add ons any.

Edit: told me he switched out sloppy for gift of pain

THWACK! only applies on breaking pallets, it causes all Survivors in 30-meters or so to scream and have their aura be revealed, it even works on Undetectable killers, it can also proc from Dissolution activating.

THWACK! is not a bad perk but it has a few drawbacks. If Survivors play it safe and prevent downs and/or heavily predrop pallets, your value gets limited heavily. Survivors who are more prone to playing pallets and actually loop are what this perk thrives off of.

  • Iron_Cutlass
    Iron_Cutlass Member Posts: 3,267

Intentionally sent to Gideon's by the Survivors. They did nothing by predrop every pallet, I was only able to get a single hook and trap placed, and it was on the No Mither gamer since I grabbed them off a Generator using Pig's Stealth.

Your build is: Clown (Cigar Box and Ether 15 Vol%) ~ Agitation, Merciless Storm, Tinkerer, Hex: Ruin.

The point of this thread is to trade builds. My apologies but if you are unable to play the build I give you, then I will not fill out the request.

To better clarify, I wanted to try this out since it encourages me to go out of my comfort zone and try out Killers I hardly play (since I mostly play Demo), and vice versa, let people try out builds that they would never even think of. It's a fun and neat idea but it requires both sides to do their part.

  • Iron_Cutlass
    Iron_Cutlass Member Posts: 3,267

I want to get to other requests so I only did the first build you listed. Was a fun match, Survivors flew through gens and they werent really affected by H: Huntress Lullaby (which I substituted for Shadowborn since Shadowborn is basekit now).

Your build is: Dredge (Haddie's Calender and Malthinker's Skull) ~ BBQ, Zanshin Tactics, Darkness Revealed, Iron Maiden.

  • Iron_Cutlass
    Iron_Cutlass Member Posts: 3,267

Similar to the last request, if multiple builds are listed, Ill only do the first one to give people an opportunity to post their builds.

Your build is: Cenobite (Impaling Wire and Greasy Black Lens) ~ Lethal Pursuer, Deathbound, Deadlock, and SH: Floods of Rage.

It’s not that I won’t play the build you give me, it’s that I physically can’t at the moment. I wasn’t trying to be obtuse about it, sorry if I came off that way.

Oni, with friends till the end, sloppy butcher, alien instinct, and lethal pursuer. Addon's are splintered hull and akitos crutch.

DISCLAIMER: I play on console so the picture won't be as good, but I'll try my best to get a picture for your build.

Add on: idrescent photo card ,Caged Heart Shoes
