So what is everyone's preferred FOV setting?
Just curious to what everyone likes and on what killers.

put it at max and start whiffing like a little noob. Went right back to 87! never was much of shadowborn gamer. I was misjudging distances around loops constantly which really hurt killers like doc and bubba badly (you need to be very precise with them). It did allow me to hug Loops way better as killer tho so i might try again down the line

I'm just keeping mine at 87, I'm used to it and higher FOVs look weird to me at this point and throw me off so I'm not changing it

103 on Myers, Trapper and Wraith.
I can't imagine changing it later when I go to my main man Freddy for any reason.

I'm taking all I can with 103

I maxed it out at 103. It’s soooo much easier getting chainsaw hits with Billy now.

Maxed it out at 103. It's a free perk that's built-in; why would you not?

103, fully to the brim. I would prefer 110, though, as I prefer seeing as much as I can all at once in first-person games. Anything higher than 87 is better than 87, so I won't be ungrateful about it.

I have it at 87 atm. Not sure why but when i was playing nurse i was doing worse with higher FOVs. It makes survivors look further away than they actually are. Maybe this is just a thing with nurse though.

What is the best max FOV in your opinion? 110?

Most first-person games have a cap of 120, so having that as the max would be preferred. Depending on the game I actually max it to 120, especially for first-person shooters. However, if some animations look jank then I wouldn't mind a 110 cap.

I'm keeping it at the default. Anything higher makes me feel queasy.

Anything other than the default. With the default it constantly feels like I'm playing with a magnifying glass

I use 110 in every game for years, 103 in this one cause its the max.

Yeah what @brimp said. Playing killer without shadowborn aka max fov is like moving through sand looking through binoculars. It's simply awful.

Always remember: Higher FOV will also make it easier for survs to get a blind when you're forced to pick up in the open.

old Shadowborn gave you 15% more FOV (102FOV), so im using "mini" Shadowborn at 95 (7.5+7.5 is 15, which means old Shadowborn. So i increased it by 8 from 87 which is now old FOV (couldnt by 7.5, so i round it up to 8).
edit: nurse at 103 FOV seems difficult to play

I played horribly with Nurse at 103. Just felt off. Messes with my depth perception. It makes sense, considering I probably have close to 1000 hours on her at 87.

yoo whats up count

Cranked that setting up to max instantly. I need all the vision I can get to try and catch whatever nonsense survivors are trying to get away with.

Well half of that would because her camera is off position atm. Even at the level you're used the weapon takes a third of the screen.

103, would go higher if I could. Most other games I use 120 if the option is there.

Are numbers the same in every first person game? Or do you need to use different % to get the same FOV outcome?
Also don't you give survs easier blinds with higher FOV, like using Shadowborn before?
