Because Alan Wake was just a skin added during the mid-chapter update, and this killer-only chapter is the actual chapter.

chucky came out late november. this ptb is on the 20th, meaning the chapter will come out in march. thats a 3 month difference, why wouldnt there be a new chapter? lol

We got Chucky and Alan wake. I thought after alan we have to wait another 2-3 months.

Alan Wake's not a chapter. It's a Mid-Chapter.
February's gonna have the PTB of the next full Chapter already.

Didn‘t the ptbs always drop in the first week of a month and then at the end of a month it released.

alan isnt a full chapter, the real chapters are ones with killers.
and alan came in a midchapter, just like mikaela, nic, etc.

Usually, the PTB is 3 weeks prior to whatever the scheduled release date is.

And probably another slew of changes for Onryo.
Hopefully a change of the "Anti-3-gen" system.
