Please consider keeping lights out longer than a week.
I’ve been having a lot of fun on both sides, I know the playerbase is pretty split on lights out but I love it!!

It was always gonna be a love/hate scenario.
I'm firmly in the love camp on this one lights out is great. I hope it stays.
Or better yet I hope it gets integrated into the base game so that we start off in darkness and matches get progressively lighter as the game progresses. Its dead by daylight after all.

While integrating this into core dbd may see some opposition, I think having the lights gradually turn on as gens get completed would be a good idea. Something like lights turn on when 3 gens are done, TR comes back at 4 gens completed etc.

Yeah, even with it being a small modifier, the weeklong run time sets a worrying precedent. For this game mode I don't mind too much that it's only around for a week, but if they finally bring in 2v8 or 5v5 and it's only around for a week, that would be the biggest slap in the face ever.-

I made a similar point on another thread.
You get more and more of the mechanics that give information, TR, Heartbeat, survivor activity icons, hook meter etc as the objectives progress.
Not only does the game get progressively better lit but more complete information is available as you progress the objective.
It may never work and I'm sure people would love/hate it again but I'm just really enjoying lights out and thinking of the potential.

for me it was extremely underwhelming and didnt really like it, but I'm absolutely in favor of keeping it for the people who did enjoy it.
