Revert Pyramid Heads nerf
Look at what could have been:
The reduction of his cake was uncalled for. It needs to be reverted. It is imperative that this happens sooner so Survivors and Killers can have more fun. The fate of the game depends on it.

I would also say that I am happy that someone brought him up, as I never experienced the smooth Pyramid Head, only the sluggish one we got today, but then I realised that my plight might not be on topic here, and well, I win with him enough, but the sluggish ways of the punishment of the damned often punish him just as well.
If the survivors only knew that every time I zone them that I most likely wouldn't have hit them in 4 of 5 cases anyway, if they had committed, my whole gameplan with him would be in pieces. Slick and sick cool blindshots are still one of the most satisfying things this game has to offer.

Overwatch community: Giant threads because an animation got removed resulting in a giant controversy full of salt.
DBD community: "Pyramid Heads cake got unfairly nerfed" "Yes".

While cake is more important, I will agree that his mechanics are clunky and need to be better fine tuned. I purchased him a while ago and tried him out for a few matches and he was just annoying to control so I dropped him.

His cake needs to be put back asap

He used to feel super smooth to use, it's super similar to how Deathslinger is now compared to how he used to be. Just smoother and more fluid to play.

What was the reason behind it? Was he just too hard to face for the average SoloQ survivor so they made him unappealing to play as like they did with Twins?

BUFF PYRAMID ASS!!!!

Essentially the same reason that Deathslingers ADS got nerfed. It was super easy to just put the sword down and immediately pick it back up and hit someone. There was almost no cool down at all after picking it back up like there is now. Absolutely free zoning and honestly should have been nerfed, it's just a shame though because a result of both of these nerfs (PH and Slinger) made them feel really clunky and annoying to play.

It is hard to say. If I recall correctly people didn't have a lot of trouble facing him when the Silent Hill chapter released.
I do remember some complaints about him being able to camp and relentlessly tunnel survivors in cages, but that didn't take long to be adjusted.

Why did they even nerf his butt? He’s meant to be a sexual symbol anyway.

i guess it was just BHVR being BHVR. With the recent Billy changes, there’s hope Sir Fredrick of Dreams and Cake Daddy getting improved by going back to their roots.

Nah it was 100% a very complained about problem of him being able to "zone for free". Watch some gameplay of release Pyramid Head and you'll see what I'm talking about. He put you in a position where there was no viable counterplay other than hoping the killer player was just bad and missed.

Actually, I do remember complaints about zoning, now that you mention it. Still, I wish they didn’t have to make him clunky and careless.

Absolutely, I feel the same way. I really wanted to main him and still play him quite often, but after that change I lost a lot of interest in him.

I like Pyramidhead. His add one need work for sure, but I think his power is mostly OK. He’s so rare though I honestly think I’ve only seen him once in the last 6 months.

FINALLY!! A buff worth discussing that we can all get behind!

Yes!!!! Do it please BHVR

Keeping it on Page 1, this is a serious topic that deserves full attention.

It’s a very serious topic and it deserves to be seen and resolved immediately!

Cake? I'm confused, and kind of glad.
He doesn't have anyhting to do with cake in SH2. He's there to punish James not make desserts lol what??

If you compare the picture of him in this thread with what he looks like in game, you’ll know what kind of cake I’m talking about. Just look below the waistline when you do the comparison

I think they said they rebuffed his butt but like it never changed.. so I dont know why they even put it in the patchnotes
