Enduring will now affect the DS/Head on stun timer.
Personally I really like the new DS, because it is punishing the people who was over and over tunneling the one person, which was unfun though. But making the Enduring affects the new stun timer for DS will just make this perk useless in a lot scenerios, the stun will be around 1.5 second, so you will be away about 6 meters from the killer... Well. Just my opinion.

Are we sure this isn’t a typo and is supposed to be “not”? The context of the answer I feel like its supposed to say not, not now. Why talk about what the aim of the 3 seconds was, and then just say oh it’s changed now...without explaining why. Doesn’t add up to me

I have to admit I'm a little torn on this. On one hand I'm glad because I think everything should in some way have counterplay/counter builds and this is a great way to fight the affects of the new DS. On the other hand since Enduring is a pretty staple perk in a lot, if not most, builds (excluding gimmick/fun builds) it seems like an awfully hard counter. Honestly the only way to find out for sure is to give it some time and see how things play out.

Then we have to hope that ds triggers several times. Its just trash even without enduring. Unhook -> ds -> 20s later down -> hook -> unhook -> hook -> dead ... nothing done at all

Does Enduring affect the stun from a Survivor wiggling free? If so, perhaps they are saying that they wanted DS to match the wiggle stun 100%.

I think Enduring should affect the stun from Head On. Lockers keep getting buffed: they hide auras and now the breathing of survivors inside is less audible (I assume that's still going live), on top of already hiding survivors visually and protecting from Doc's madness. Hiding in lockers should have utility, but should hiding in a locker make survivors untouchable? Head On will let survivors jump out of a locker rather than being grabbed, and unless they're already injured they'll still be able to take two hits.
I do not think Enduring should affect the stun from the new DS. If the stun is only 1.5 seconds, then DS is basically useless and won't help stop killers tunneling survivors. If the survivor uses DS, then they're already going to be injured while running away, so they're a one-hit down. It would be better to just equip other perks and hope your savior has Borrowed Time.

If there's one thing I'm not a fan of, it's inconsistent interactions. Either let it affect both perks or neither. Having it affect only one is a bad idea IMO.

The stun-timer was actually balanced. Not too long and not too short. Idk why the devs decide to change this. But the new DS will still help kind of for the solo players.

Inconsistent would be if I said Enduring should work on DS before the gates are powered but not after. DS is different from other stuns: the survivor stabs the killer. With other stuns, the killer is getting slammed into (pallets, locker doors), blinded, or just losing their grip on the survivor. Those aren't on the same level as being stabbed.

Its good that killers have a counter for survivors that abuse it...but then it just assists tunneling killers.

Inconsistent is when it works on some perks but not others for no other reason than "we said so."
DS stuns the killer; "stabbing the killer" is just flavor text and not an actual in-game mechanic with meaning.

But okay, if consistency is what's important, then Enduring should affect neither perk. I think it's better that DS be useful for survivors than killers be able to recover quickly from a stun from a meme perk like Head On.

Well, first the devs wanted to make this perk to be an anti-tunnel weapon, but now they are giving the tunnelers possibility to make this perk useless. I don't understand them.

That wouldn't make it not an inconsistency. That would make it an inconsistency that devs are just ignoring.
I don't necessarily mind them making it not work on perks (though if that were the case, they should definitely update the text on Enduring to reflect that), but it should either uniformly affect all stun perks or none of the stun perks. None of this "Huntress Lullaby doesn't work on Jigsaw Boxes" BS.

That's not how it works. It doesn't reduce the stun time by 75%, it increases recovery speed by 75%. That means the stun time will be reduced by roughly 1,3 seconds (not even 50%).

That still makes sense from a gameplay perspective, though. Failing a skill check at a Jigsaw Box is the one time when failing skill checks can literally instantly kill the survivor. It would be pretty OP if Lullaby affected that. I've seen survivors fail every single gen skill check when Lullaby is active. Personally, I think fun gameplay mechanics are more important than consistency. Lullaby on Jigsaw Boxes wouldn't be fun for anyone, because it's not like the killer is actively involved in that aspect, only the survivor.

Wow... this survivor logic… they get one of their most favorite perks buffed and complain about it being SOFT-countered IF all killer are using that one perk.

Or that everyone can use it now without the need to wiggle 35%?
Or that there is no warning for the killer that the victim has DS?
Or that drippling got removed?

Isn't the best situation to use this when the Killer has a Survivor on their shoulder?
If the Killer has one, the stun time won't be reduced by Enduring since it never does with Killers who carry.

Reducing the stun timer? No longer usable at any time? And in order to make this perk works you need to be unhooked? Which happens rarely when you play solo. Skillchecks was always easy to me so it's whatever for me. For the rest of things I can agree that is a buff.

You are forgetting the stagger survivor gets from rushing out of the locker and getting off of the killers' shoulder.
Old ds 1 had 3 second stun timer and with enduring 3, this is the result.

It is still an inconsistency that is not addressed. And I'm not convinced that it would be OP. Survivors who are halfway decent at Skill Checks can already work through Huntress Lullaby in its early stages, and the fact that it's a totem means it can be neutralized before it becomes too much of a problem.
I believe these sort of inconsistencies are bad game design choices that will inevitably lead to bad gameplay. If they don't want Huntress Lullaby to affect Jigsaw Boxes, they shouldn't design them in a way that would make one mistakenly assume it would work, especially when another Skill Check perk DOES AFFECT JIGSAW BOXES. Same goes for something like Enduring only working on one Stun Perk but not another.

In end game It will be, If the gates are open It'll be a free escape.
60 seconds is a huge amount of time with how fast games are, and if survivors are smart they'll save DS for end game. Plus you can Combine it with Deliverance or Borrowed time.

I think so too. Imagine 4 survivors have this perk and all get that 60s and there is no indication or something. You do not have to tunnel but you can find and catch a survivor after maybe 50 seconds and you get the stun. ...a generator without anything takes 80s with one survivor, if I'm not wrong? Games are sometimes very fast.

Good balance, it has a counter but killer has to dedicate a perk slot for it. Not every killer will be running enduring, I know I won't be unless its a pallet eater build.
