I'm killer main and I don't usually buy survivors, the last survivor I bought was Vittorio, but she deserves my attention. The bad thing is that now I have to save 18k iri shards.

She's probably coming in as my second favourite survivor (nobody is beating Meg) will push Kate down to 3rd.
I'd have bought the chapter regardless not particularly interested in the perks or the killer but happens more often than it doesn't these days.
Think Sable is going to make an absolute killing in cosmetic sales.

She'll be popular for sure. I really love her design and I'll definitely be adding her to my usual Survivor mains (Meg and Ripley). I think her future cosmetics will likely be very cool as well.
I wonder if she'll be getting an Iron Maiden T-Shirt like the other original Survivors, or if she'll miss out since she hasn't been released yet...

I’m not good with all the different subcultures but I thought Mikaela fell under “goth”. If not, what would she be under? Hippy? Is Witchy also considered a subculture?

It can be a little hard to know when you're not in the culture.
I've done a punk look on multiple occasions, it's honestly fun.

Yea, I’m more of an introvert that rarely socializes so I’m ignorant on a lot of the different subcultures out there. I do like the goth “look” though, from what I’ve seen anyways.

I think she kinda is, to be honest. At least to some degree. There's definitely plenty of overlap in related subcultures.
I don't think anyone in the real world fits into neat little categories anyway, so it's a little more realistic when fictional characters don't either.

There's no way I'd ever go to a punk show normally. Idk though, the makeup and dressing up; it's like putting on a mask and it lets me be someone I'm not for a bit.

They both fall under the 'goth' culture, but Mikaela falls under the 'boho witch' subculture, while Sable is within the 'witchy goth' subculture. The main difference is that the boho witch leans towards earthy tones and natural imagery, while the witchy goth embraces a darker palette, occultism and such.
I think Sable will be much more popular than Mikaela. Her model has far more detail, and her darker tones and 'vibe' tend to appeal more to people. I wouldn't be surprised if Sable ensures at least one survivor per lobby after she's officially released lol

Usually I would resent this, but a caked out goth girl is pretty near the dead center of my area of interest, lol.

I hope she is more popular. I thought Mikaela was decent when she was revealed but her players caused for me to hate her guts. I hope that doesn’t happen with Sable.

There are dozens of subcultures with the gothic culture. In fact, I would argue that Sable and her overall aesthetic falls more into the Emo subculture of gothic culture, with subtle touches in her outfit of being a 'fairy goth' as well.

I agree, they really nailed it with the visuals, the gameplay as always is lacking.
But who knows, there's always a chance for BHVR to surprise you and fix the gameplay issues and see a chapter health out of nowhere, I dont have much hopes for this but its there.
Wish they would take the next 3 months before the anniversary to do just that but that's too much to ask I guess.

I like Sable more than Mikaela. Mikaela, as a coffeeshop-working "witch" always struck me as an annoying hipster type. Sable is more "edgy goth" and I'm more fond of that. But to be honest? My favorite thing about Sable is her shoes.
I hope she gets cosmetics that are more casual and grounded, though. A lot of the female survivors (and now some of the males too) get full-on fashion show cosmetics that have always felt out of place to me. I want outfits that look like someone picked them out of a clothing store that doesn't cost $1000+.

I get your drift. One of Mikaelas rift re-colored outfits, the one where she wears the Monstone Cafes uniform, also has amazing shows. They are so blue and magical ... but sadly they pair with her apron...
