So what happened to some of the og dbd streamers
Mainly Monto and No0b3 does anyone have any info on what happened to them? Since I kinda miss their old dbd content Monto with his builds and Noob with his well just overall quirkiness.

They probably just didn't wanna play dbd anymore and that's what the content people we're watching them for, No0b3 would still be around if dbd was less toxic and unhealthy to play, that's why he quit, he said he had issues with depression and I think this game just made it worse for him.

Yeah though I do hope he comes back not as just a dbd streamer but playing other games I did like his Outlast play through but mental health comes first.

Yeah, there's a lot of games out there that dont mess with your mental health so much, especially offline games, just look at Insym, he's having a blast everytime he plays because he switches games and players what he enjoys at the moment.

A lot of people who leave streaming just don’t enjoy the streaming aspect anymore. The constant schedule, content creation and audience engagement can become way too overwhelming. This, plus single game streamers get burnt out super quick. N00b3 had major copyright issues on his YouTube and I think that’s what put the end to any future streaming from him.

I really miss them, but people move on/take breaks due to burnout, mental health, and just how life is. Nowadays modern DBD YouTube is just contentslop with the game being treated more as competitive to them rather than how No0b3 and Monto played for fun and goofs and overall were quite charming. They were, simply put, just being themselves, and that's what made them and their content so loveable.

Both of them shortly came back like 1 or 2 years ago, but only for like a week or so... Monto even announced another video for a few days later, but then it just stopped... Kind of sad, but I have not been aware of anything else :/

While it is definitely true that people got tired of the game in general, one aspect that gets overlooked is that back in the old days much of the content was about dunking on players who were significantly less skilled than whoever was recording. With SBMM it became harder to pull off the 10 360 spins in a row type of vids. Now we are in the "Salty survivors don't want to play against my knockout nurse slugging everyone until they bleed out lmfao gg noobs" arc of the content creation and it's just so meh.

I would watch someone trying to pull off knockout Nurse... Considering the perk does not work with her blinks anymore...

As far as i know monto has just gone off the radar. He came back for a short while in september 2022 after a hiatus but then he ghosted later that month. There's rumours about why but i'd prefer to stick to facts.

I've been doing some YT rabbit hole dives back into Puppers, one of the best & gentlest DBD players ever. Miss him terribly.
He did often pair up with Monto and sometimes Noob3 among others. I highly recommend this journey very good for the DBD soul!

Closing the thread here. While this post has been civil thus far, oftentimes posts regarding content creators unfortunately and quickly turn into gossip, arguments, and drama, which means users will find themselves breaking rules in the thread before they know it.
