Influx of cheating latley (exploits etc) anyone else notice?

Has anyone else noticed this over the past week or two?

I'm not talking possible, or they are good players and people think they are cheating - I'm talking about blant things here are three examples (there are more):

  • Teammate on a second hook and they got themselves off with only the yellow perk "Lithe" on. That's not possible, or shouldn't be - yet I watched it happen. More than once.
  • Killer able to find every single one one of within a two minute period - no perks on. (They have been able to go across a map and grab someone else within seconds - again - no perks.) Should also not be possible and I have seen this more than one.
  • Teammate absolutely missing the skill checks by a mile and nothing happening with only "Lithe and Sprint burst" Both green.

It's happening in a lot of games, or similar and after about 2 or 3 games now I just log out and can't be bothered to play.

Seraphor is correct. Skill checks do lag when spectating. The cheaters I've seen in videos don't even display the skill check wheel. Only the sound plays.

The anti-face camping mechanic does allow for second stage self-unhooks.

Some killers have access to Killer Instinct which shows survivor locations even without aura reading perks. Even without that, sometimes killers either just get lucky or have good map sense.

This can happen if Killer lingers near hook for too long, It goes faster if no survivors are nearby

Game sense, audio, survivor cosmetics and fog is so borderline useless you can spot survivors from very far away

    spectator is not exact

Maybe I'm just being overly suspicious then.

In the three cases I saw the teammate unhook themselves I can think of one time where the killer was close - the other times the killer was chasing other teammate quite the distance away.

I had no idea there was a bug that didn't show all of the perks but only a few, so that could also make sense.

Killer - wellllllll - I'm talking grabbing teammates on another side of the map and one right after the other. Like boom boom boom boom - done. It was a "what just happened" type thing and yes, some killers are really that good. I have met them - but a couple were more like a hmmmmm I don't think soooo. In the one case it was more like ghostface has been transported right next to you.

I often wear bonded now so if I'm dead and watching - as I like too after I'm out - that's how I see that one but I never considered lag as a possibility. I'd never seen it before, just this past week, week and a half maybe. (I usually play daily.) But that makes sense too.

Thank you all for taking the time to comment. I feel better about it all now and thinking that my perception might be a bit off.

I appreciate it. Going to go in and play now - hopefully with a different perspective thanks to you all.
