And don't tell me just buy the DLC. The free character challenge is closed inside and this causes negative feelings.

Not a problem for me. Joking aside there are many challenges me and my friends ran into that require x character that we didn’t have to get to a challenge for one we do have. This is nothing new. It just gives extra emphasis to get ole Allen.

I mean they always make sure there's a way to get to the end of the page without needing any DLC. It's a bit odd there's a master challenge and thus 5 rift fragments locked behind the DLC that shouldn't be, but it's not that big of a deal really.

According to a reddit post by the devs, they are going to fix this later.

I feel they'll need to fix it. I remember way back in Tome 3 where a Dwight challenge with an entry was hidden behind a Kate perk. I remember the reaction was not well received back then.

I said another forum "who doesn't have Alan?", but also 5 Rift fragments you get it that amount with playing 5 matches. But what is weird Nea unlocks another Alan Wake lore. :S I mean obviously something went wrong here at multiple ways. I guess Nea here because she get new skins with current Tome.

I have heard of these “fixes” through legends and myths. If the old scrolls are to be trusted then…….the Nea challenge will become another Alan challenge! (Cue Don Don Doooooon sound effect)

I don't believe I've seen a node blocked off from a DLC requirement node. Yes there are nodes you cannot complete if you don't have the character but you could reach all the other nodes by going around it.

They've updated it. They switched Nea's challenge with Wake's on the right. It's fixed now.
