New DC penalty idea
Instead of locking players out of matchmaking for 15 seconds how about instead you just lock all their perks untli they can pay a 1 million blood point fee to use them. since BP is more precious than 15 seconds and they can still play to get that BP it will also ensure they have to play several matches without perks if they are not careful with their disconnecting frequency.

Nope. The dcer ruined the game for four other people and wasted their time. The DCer should have their time wasted too.

There's no need to compromise the potential gameplay experience for those who disconnect. The game remains open to them if they stop disconnecting. Adding a fee as a condition to return to normal gameplay appears to add unnecessary frustration.
The existing penalty for unreliable players should be sufficient.
Perhaps there is room for a penalty for excessive lobby dodgers, if we do need something more.

You'll find a lot of survivors with no perks trying to grind back that 1m BP often, and possibly being a hindrance to you and your team without their perk loadouts unless they're absolute god tier/lucky without perks.

I would prefer to have a bot and players without perks than having someone throw the easiest match in the game just because they don't like the map or they don't like the killer. Bot's are significantly better than the player who disconnects anyways. It would be a better incentive to disconnect than have someone kill themselves on first hook to avoid the DC penalty timer and alter the kill statistics of the match.

The only other option is to put players that have a high disconnect frequency and players that have a high death on first hook number be placed in their own server and can't connect to other servers, instead anyone they party with will be placed into that server for those matches they are teamed with the person.
