PTB on Epic Games?
Here I want to ask why only Steam players can access PTB. Doesn't Dead By Daylight have any players playing through Epic Games and they don't bring PTB to Epic Games? Also in this chat, why can't PC players (Epic Games, Steam and Microsoft Store) match each other when they turn off the crossplay option? Don't they all use keyboard and mouse? In short, what I mean is that they should bring PTB to other platforms besides Steam (I don't know if it is only on Steam or if it is also available on the console) and when we turn off the crossplay option, they can bring all PC players together without choosing a platform.

Epic Games doesn't have an equivalent to Steam's beta branch feature, so releasing PTBs there would be impossible. Ditto most other platforms too.
As for your other question, I'm pretty sure turning crossplay on does match all PC platforms as well as the consoles. If you're on Steam and you see somebody with a globe icon typing in chat, they will be on Epic or MS store. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean?

What I mean is that I turned off crossplay through Epic Games and no matter how many times I came to the lobby, there was no one with a globe sign on them. This means that PC platforms do not match each other when opening CP. This unnecessarily prolongs the time to find a lobby. That's what I mean. Anyone with a globe sign on them should not play on other PC platforms.

Turning on crossplay means everybody regardless of platform can match each other, not sure why you think they don't

This is not so. As far as I know, a Steam player who closes CP and an Epic player who opens CP do not fall into the same lobby. Unnecessary waste of time (or waste of good suffering ).

That's straight up not true

Turn off Cross Play option. No matter how many times you come to the lobby, you won't see a single player with a globe over their head (if you do, I'm an idiot).

Yes, as others have said, Steam is the only platform that features an option for developers to do "beta" options in their games, hence why they are the only way you can play on the PTB.
Also, yes turning OFF crossplay will make it so you only match with others on your same platform (Steam, Epic, and MS are all separate platforms) that ALSO have crossplay OFF.

As others have said, only Steam players can access any PTB, and they've said there's no plans to add it to any other platform.
And yeah for CrossPlay should you turn it off you'd be only matched with those just on your platform who also have turned it off. So for you you'd only get other Epic players who also have turned off CrossPlay, and I imagine that would be a tiny pool indeed. That would be no one on Steam, or Windows, or any console, or anyone on Epic with CrossPlay still on.
