Why doesn't Xbox have PTB?
It literally has a program called xbox insider where you can try ptb or betas of games that are not on the normal server. I don't see why BHVR doesn't use it.

They won't even allow cross-progression for Xbox Game Pass for console and Xbox Game Pass for PC even though smaller, less popular games do.

I think they've said before that the PTB is a large update for them and they probably don't have the bandwidth allowance to have it on multiple platforms

Pushing updates to consoles requires certification to make sure everything adheres to Microsoft/Sony/etc. standards. It's expensive and time consuming.
Steam does not require this, so developers are free to push updates without any additional hassle. Which is why the PTB is Steam only.

Cross progression is out of BHVR's hands at this point. It's the console companies themselves who prevent it from happening.

Sea of Thieves is crossplay for example were both PC players and consoleros (Xbox and soon PS5 aswell) can download and play insider builds. We even get weekly rewards (cosmetics) for participating.

I believe it's been said because of Playstation that cross progression isn't a thing and that xbox already said it's fine.
I see a lot of Sony hate going around dbd communities because of this. Idk if it's 100% true, just what I've seen said a lot.

This is most of the reason why.
However games like DayZ and Minecraft both have "experimental" versions of their games on Xbox for instance, and I'd like to see something similar used to test things out for DBD.
It is frustrating that the PTB is only just Steam users, who make up a small portion of the overall playerbase, even knowing the reasons why.

At the very least you should be able to try killer changes against bots. Perhaps our opinion don't matter as much.

Sony has no say whatsoever on Game Pass games. It all works through you Xbox Live account and Game Pass subscription. The reason we don't have it is solely a BHVR issue imo.

Not on Xbox Game Pass. Xbox wants all games to be what they call "play anywhere" games. It's up to the developers to to allow cross-progression on all Microsoft platforms.
