How do i gather evidence if i didn't record
I was just in a game with a blatant hacker, insta wiggling and the entire game ended when i killed one of the megs i don't know if several player were hacking or not but i don't know how to get evidence after the game ended any recommendations?

You cannot do anything at that point unfortunately. You have to have some form of evidence and I doubt they wrote anythng self-incriminating in the endgame chat which you can always screenshot as evidence in future scenarios.

I'd just report and not worry about the evidence. I would assume if one person gets enough reports they'd be looked into. I went to the effort of recording a survivor working with the killer to get the team killed, placed my report but never got a pop up in game that any sort of action had been taken. So it wasn't worth my time tbh. I only bothered because I'd had a bad string of solo games and that was just the icing on the cake.

The reporting system is incredibly inefficient and burdensome - it's ridiculous. You would think that there could be some kind of system that automatically detects when somebody is doing something in a game that they shouldn't be able to do per the normal programming, but apparently that is technically impossible. That would be an awful lot easier than recording games, creating clips, uploading clips, having BHVR review clips, BHVR deciding whether or not to ban, etc. etc. Reporting is just not worth the time and effort, which is really sad.

Does this mean that the chatlog is not available to the reviewer when reporting out of post-game lobby?

It is available, it's just better if it's a hard to explain situation and makes the report more convenient to review.

Considering how big this game has become, the customer service and anti-cheat is abysmal.

The fact that this game doesn't have a dedicated team to reports is depressing.
We shouldn't have to provide videos, that should be a task force's job to do, to go back into the logs and check.
How does FFXIV do it, magic? They have an entire team dedicated to shutting down hackers and issues like that.

Ive honestly gave up on reports which is sad. Ive done 3 reports with video evidence before of sandbagging teammates working with killer and never got a pop up. I dont know if its because im on console and pc players only get pop up or what. But i just dont think they have a dedicated reporting system at all.
